I agree that EA has too much pride when it comes to developing the game. The majority of the time an improvement is suggested, it is based off of 2K5 because 2k5 was the game that made us realize it was possible. I think Madden has an identity and is hell-bent on not making Madden 2K9, but madden 2009.

I think it will take EA to swallow its pride and realize that... if we point out that 2K has wonderful pocket presence, or wonderful CB/WR interaction, we are not asking EA to replicate 2K. We are asking you to replicate real NFL football. We cherish these things because they are in the NFL, not 2k5. 2k5 was just the tool that showed everyone what we were missing.
