I dont know. It's just a game with a small development team, quoted as 6 people in the article. In the article, you can really see what they hope their technology could do. It could eliminate the need for huge groups of developers spending lots of effort on getting the core stuff right, so they can spend more time and money making the game content right. So aiming for that goal means it benefits them to actually put this game out. Nothing proves their concept better than a good game made by a small group of people with their tools.
