In all seriousness though, I think games like Lacrosse and Field Hockey games would be great. Being from California, these are sports that aren't typically played in high school (at least in Nor-Cal), so I don't have a lot of knowledge about them.

I wonder if the fact that 2K and EA are both based out of California has anything to do with this? Since they are not surrounded by this sport, maybe it's off their radar.

Also, I would like to see someone take a stab at highschool sports in general. Namely, football, baseball and basketball. It could be done in the same way as the NCAA games, but just geared towards high school.

Does anyone remember the original XBOX game Deathrow? It was kind of like Ultimate...albeit a little more brutal. That's a great underrated sports game that (I think) is backward compatible.

With the wave of minigame compilations on the Wii, can't you see something like a new California Games collection selling well?

Is Parkour a sport? If so, that be a fun game.

the company that made sniper elite, made a parkour game for the ps2..check it out!

no offense to anyone, but i don't htink lacross would translate well into a vid.

I'd love to see the k-1 series brought back..i need a kickboxing game badly.

some sports could easily be xbla titles no problem - like squash and derivitave games like that.

1. kickboxing/tkd/muay thai
2. mogule skiing(freestyle), and hardcore downhill racing
3. an XBOX360 F1 GAME!!!
4. fencing or something like bushido blade 1
5. a futuristic sport like 'running man' that is part survival and part obstical course

other ideas; strongest man/weighlifting game, good sumo idea, real volleyball like that genisis game 'super volleyball' or something - just put that on xbla

I want to see another IRL game. Indy racing league 2005 for xbox had potential to being good but had lame a.i. I don't see why they can't make a next gen update to that game. But lacrosse or a real volleyball game would be sweet to see.

I can't understand why the softwarehouses don't bet in volleyball games.

Many sports almost unpopular around the world (not few countries) like Cricket, Table Tennis, Rugby have games.

Im pretty sure its for the NLL. It would suck if it was for MLL, that league is terrible. The NLL is no doubt the premier lacrosse league and I'm pretty sure I read an article on nll.com that activision is going to make an NLL game that will be released in 2009.
