Not to disrespect you or your opinion in any way, but I think that EA makes enough money to hire a sufficient amount of people to work on this game. Asking for the all the stadiums on the 3rd year of existence for this game on next generation isn't asking all that much. How bout they take the people that work on the mascot game and utilize them in better ways to give us gamers what we're looking for. If they want to make a mascot game, they should focus on the Wii and make a nice little kid game out of it because I don't know of too many adults or teens for that matter that are intersted in how cool it is to see Bevo do a somersault after being hit by Brutus. If they want to advertise home crowd advantage and atmosphere, shouldn't they include home fields?
Anyone plan on buying the PS2 version of 09?

Yeah you're right, they need to hire at least a few more folks it appears. Not to disrespect you or your opinion in any way, but I think that EA makes enough money to hire a sufficient amount of people to work on this game. Re: Anyone plan on buying the PS2 version of 09?
It would only make sense to me unless this is a marketing ploy for next season so they can advertise "authentic stadiums for every team and all bowl games." I guess they have to save something for next year's version that they can plug.Comment

Re: Anyone plan on buying the PS2 version of 09?
Here's the info from the official site:One thing that still bothers me with this series on next generation consoles is that they still can't get all the freakin' stadiums in the game, including some bowl game stadiums. That's just mind boggling to me considering that they've had plenty of time to incorporate this and the ability to do it. Hell, I wouldn't even care if they would throw a generic one on there that closely resembles the stadium, just something to differentiate them. I hate the generic stadium they use that looks the same for all the teams that use it. I'm not sure if it's even on this year's game or not but can someone tell me the importance of the mascot game that's wasting space?
I haven't seen much info on the PS2 version yet. Any new features been added or have they changed dynasty mode in any way?
The main one for me is going to be the ability to sim parts of games, so if it's a blowout either way you can sim to a finish, or even sim the first half and play the second. This'll make Dynasty mode a lot more fun to play imo, especially if like me, you don't have the time you used to.Comment

I have a ps2, but I just never buy games for it. I play my 360 almost exclusively with a little wii mixed in also.WUSTLComment

Re: Anyone plan on buying the PS2 version of 09?
I still only have a PS2, so if I get 09, that's the version it'll be. However, I ended up skipping getting 08 last year after hearing so much complaining about the turnovers. If the PS2 version of 09 has similar issues, I'd have no problem skipping it again. I had a lot of fun with 07, so I could live with it for another year if necessary.Comment

unless the PS3 version is completely unplayable, then I won't be buying.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Anyone plan on buying the PS2 version of 09?
The only way I'm getting this game is for the PS2. I recently downloaded some rosters for 07 that I could put on my PS3 and have been playing that game. I can't wait to play with updated rosters, uniforms, and whatever else has changed. After playing that 08 piece of crap and seeing that 09 doesn't look much different, there is no way I'm buying a next gen game from EA. Anyway, I can help with rosters for the Pac-10 for the PS2 whoever is doing the rosters this year.Comment

Yeah graphics aren't important to everybody. So I can see why people prefer the PS2 version, being that it has everything.
I too like taking a FCS team and buikl them into a powerhouse.Comment
