I just made a filthy diving catch with Demetrius Byrd in the endzone. I beat press coverage and ran a skinny post. Just as Coleman tries to break up the pass, I manually dive in the back of the endzone and get a foot down. I jumped out of my seat and yelled "Six b******"! I got so excited, I botched the celebrate with the mascot activity. Oh well, the Tiger still got his crip walk on. Ha!

The more I play this demo, the more I love this game!

The fun of NCAA is back for me baby! And I'm 2-6 vs. the CPU and having a blast. LOL. It's gonna be a late night for this guy tonight.

Well, color me impressed. Now granted, last year's game on the PS3 was tolerable, but I wasn't going to invest a lot of time in an inferior looking and playing version.

Well this year, hats off to EA Sports. This game looks stunning on the PS3. Ok, so the fans still look pretty pitiful, but the player models, the grass, the animations, etc. are smooth as silk. This game is such leaps and bounds better looking than last year's game on the PS3.

Most importantly, responsiveness feels tight. The running game is fun, and the passing game is equally enjoyable. The way in which the icons appears is just so smoooth looking.

It's a shame there are no refs on the field.

Presentation wise, the commentary seems a little better. I noticed a few new lines, but not many. There's definitely more stat overlays which gives the game a more authentic feel.

There's new cheerleader and celebration animations that look and are timed rather well during the course of the game.

I saw one weird animation. I was on D with the OSU, and LSU had the ball at my five yard line. The QB stepped back and whizzed a perfect pass to the receiver for a touchdown. It happened so fast, I was happy to see a replay. Well, the QB never went through the throwing animation. It It just zoomed out of his hands. Strange. Hopefully just a bug they have fixed.

I lost in OT when LSU intercepted a pass and took it for a TD. After the play, I got a choice between three plays that I had to guess which play LSU ran. I was wrong, and they highlighted the play that was successful. Very cool!

On an extra point to send the game to OT, the vibration shook on the controller, and I got a lower view to kick the field goal. In addition, the meter was covered in ice. Kinda different, kinda cool.

Overall, it appears a lot of work was put in to refining the game. I've read that Madden looks even better, and if that's the case then I can't wait to see it.

My thoughts exactly. 4 games and 0 fumbles with a few ints was enought for me. CPU passed deep a few times and seen a few overthrows as well. Pass rush actually seemed ok for both sides. Presentation and environment needs to be the focus for next years game and we will be set. Great job EA. Did not see me saying that this year.

I'm not seeing the pick issue.

Either I REALLY suck at the game or maybe everyone is just so good that they can switch on the throw, get the player, and then get the INT?

I haven't even forced a pick by the computer in any game yet. I did throw one though..

I don't allow myself to control corners, for that reason alone. I don't even switch players in human/cpu games, I let the cpu do all the work for me, to prevent me from getting so many turnovers, which still doesn't help. I control one player on defense, all game long (DT). The only time I'll control a corner, is to swat the ball down, to once again, try preventing my team from getting picks.

My nephew and I have tried everything in the book with last years games, and nothing worked. I upped the CPU accuracy to 100, lowered all our defense sliders to 0. It's so bad, that we went from trying to win our games, to trying to lose them - and it doesn't work.

If only I can get the results some of you have been, I'd still be hyped about the game. I won't let a let a demo bring me too far down, though.

Oh, that will be the first game I play. No wait, maybe UF vs. UGA. I want revenge on dem Dawgs!

LOL, as the Gators I just did a tipped ball then a diving catch, it was so freakin' awesome and made even more awesome by seeing it in slo-mo on the replay with that crazy Gator mascot!!!!!

I always think of Vols-UF when I think of the Gators. I used to know a guy who was a Vols fan and he was obsessed with Spurrier and hating the Gators.

EDIT - nice, i just hit a FG and the Gator started doing the Gator chomp...LMAO!! And the tails being up in the air at the line are hilarious!!

Enjoying some of the little things that I am seeing on the field. I went to hit a running back low with the hit stick, he hurdled me! Haven't seen a real issue with the cpu quick snapping. Only seen 2 int's in 5 games. Had a catch over turned. That was cool. Wish the demo ran at 4 or 5 minute quarters.

I have a question. Is the HB counter still in the game? I haven't seen it in either teams I-formation I see the new Power-O play. Did that replace the HB counter?

After a three hour download wait ....I finally get to play... (PS3) Mixed thoughts after one game. First off graphics are awesome!! Then it is after just one game so I will play much more, but I ended up winning 34-21 in ot. I picked off Pryor three times(the last coming in ot), but all three got taken to the house.... I also scored on a kickoff return for a TD. OSU defense was pretty tough which I liked since this was only Varsity. The int's kinda reminded me of 08' but it was only one game vs a backup QB. So off to try more later.

on the 360 i just saw what altimus was talking about with the qb going slightly left of center, it was on an audible. personally i think it was that huge gator tail that caused it though.

i suck at it atm. but 2 mins is not enough time to pound the ball and wear a defense down. although i have had a 83 and 75 yrd td runs with wells.

Oh by the way, I think the HB Counter is out, but I see a Counter Trap. These playbooks are very nice. Can't wait to see UF's, Hawaii's, TTU's, Oregon's, Mizzou's, etc.

Edit: The Counter Lead is in the H-Back Strong Normal formation for OSU.
