ok then see ya.Then there are a lot of people here that have low expectations. Of course, this is what EA wants.
The game play just isn't right. I could care less about the cosmetics (grass, hair, color, shoes). The game still doesn't feel right. If it doesn't feel right then it isn't fun.
Varsity isn't that far off from AA and passing is just way to easy. Meanwhile, the running game seems to be BROKEN again. The fun factor just isn't there.
At least I can save my cash for the good games coming out late in the fall.

So now I have low expectations? That's good to know. Then there are a lot of people here that have low expectations. Of course, this is what EA wants.

Varsity isn't that far off from AA and passing is just way to easy. You can complete any pass at will.
I think "Wide Open Offense" is an excuse for, "We suck at programming a realistic football game."
Meanwhile, the running game seems to be BROKEN again. The fun factor just isn't there.

LOL so if someone likes the demo its because they have low expections? WTF?Then there are a lot of people here that have low expectations. Of course, this is what EA wants.

Really impressed with the demo. It plays smooth, the tackling animations in particular work very well and it looks good (apart from the crowd). Most importantly though, 09 runs smooth on the PS3!!! Yes!!!
I'm really interested in importing this one now but I have one question since I'm not familiar with the NCAA series. Can you import a roster file that adds the real player names?PSN: JBjb_BEComment

Yeah that's it. It us who have issues. Bottom line is if you think this demo is that bad then fine, whatever. You've said your peace which none of it was constructive at all just basic "Follow the Troll Handbook" crap. Then there are a lot of people here that have low expectations. Of course, this is what EA wants.

In any case fine. You don't like it. See you around... However I'm sure you'll continue to post in here even though you hate it soooo much and wont be getting the game......Joshua:

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here
Everyone likes the Demo because it is new. You all don't see past the glitter of playing something new. The Demo is GARBAGE!!! I can go on forever about things that are wrong. Most of you are worried about DUMB stuff like "Are their dreads" or "Are Auburns uniforms the right color.
The game looks great but still plays like crap.Comment

You haven't been around much, have you? Our main issues are OL/DL play and the jump the snap feature and the CPU hiking the ball too quick.PSN-Shugarooo

Was it jus me or ru talkin bout GHIV? lol. well, GHIV fans aren't supposed to be on operation sports unless they love sprots gaming. Apparently, you don't enjoy sport games and prefer anothr way of gaming. that's completely fine bu dood, dont go on OS and jus dis all the games WE enjoy to play.

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here
How come there was no "EA gets exclusive rights to the Weather Channel " thread.
Anyways, the game seems improved from last year. Player control seems a little loose though.
One thing that bothers me, though, is that the player models and the stadium model dont seem to fit well together.
I dont think I'm explaining it well but it seems like the players are almost pasted into the the stadium and lighting model doesnt bring a cohesion between the two....Thoughts?Comment

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here
I 100% agree. I'd like it to be a little faster or have a speed slider. I'm guessing the 60 fps prevented it from moving faster. The Madden team is a little further ahead in the development which is why it can move a little faster. Just a guess.Comment

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here
Yeah just a tad faster would be cool. (Might be in final version though) However I don't want it close to Madden speed.Joshua:

Re: NCAA Football 09 Demo Available: Discuss Here
After playing a few games of the the Demo I love it. The graphics are a nice upgrade from last year. I've noticed no pass rushing problems, I've gotten a few sacks, to me it's no worse then it was in '08. The juking on the right stick is awesome as well. With only a little over 3 weeks till the full version is released this demo might curb my addiction for '09.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

well after playing another 10+ games. the running game is badass once you get use to it. Wells isnt as effective juking as the LSU RB. and vice versa when it comes to trucking and using power.but ethier way i have been breaking off some big runs lately.NFL:New York Jets
