I am assuming you're a coach, I am too. You know, NCAA has never had a play creator, much to my
chagrin. Madden always had the play creator. I played video football way before I started coaching, and didn't think much of how it developed play calling skills, clock management, ect. until I read an article clear back around 2000 in AFC about Tony Dungy playing for such reasons. He compared it to pilots in the flight simulator. Recently read that Penn State puts their offensive playbook on Madden for qbs to study over the summer. There is a product out that uses the Madden engine and has a play creator, it is designed specifically for coaches and players, but the name escapes me and I have had trouble finding it anyway when I did remember the name. Wouldn't a game like that but NCAA be sweet. What a teaching tool that would be.
You won't get much support on this board about play creators or any feature that will create a true coaching simulation. More are interested in how you celebrate with the mascot after a touchdown and the right striping on the socks of Sam Houston State, whatever. I gave up the notion of a play creator years ago, and to be honest I have sold out on this game...I play it in spite of all the features I find important that are missing.
