I haven't had a problem moving the ball on the ground. You may want to switch up your approach to the run game... try passing to the middle of the field, this has helped me before. I can tell the computer won't blitz as often if I'm beating them with the pass.

What team are you using? Is the running back decent? What about the o-line?
