kick returns better be fixed on the 2nd patch..my roster from padre works fine....oh and missed tackles need work......pass rush....cpu accuracy..thats it

The AI sliders are clearly broken. Adjusting human AI sliders (such as QB Accuracy) indisputably affects the CPU. I've tested this out extensively in practice and it's a freakishly weird and game-killing bug.
Will the sliders be patched?
The sad part is, the human sliders are really responsive this year. It's just a shame that they affect the CPU's AI, too.Comment

Some of you that complain about the Wide-Open Gameplay and Defensive AI, just don't know how to play the game.
I have a dynasty with two teams, Western Kentucky, and Oklahoma. The worst team on the game and the #2 team on the game.
Both teams play completely differently. A lot of people complained about the teams playing very similar because of the Wide-Open Gameplay, which is totally false. My Hilltoppers are 2-3 as for OU they are 4-0.
I can hardly throw the ball with my Hilltoppers because of how bad they are, I think I have around 5TDS and 11INTS with them, and with OU I have 20TDS and 1INT.
Now, I haven't really been challenged playing as OU yet, I believe my first challenge is in two more weeks.
Also, I've played plenty of other teams, and I've never had CPU QB's that just dominated me through the air. I've had some games where I had a bunch of INTS and Deflections, and I've had some where they missed just because of bad passes.
But I've never had a QB only have incompletions due to INTs, nor even come close to it.
Perhaps you just need to pick a better defense, or learn some control ;]Comment

Don't worry Im a "troll" too for saying "EA should pay us to buy this game"...At least give us a discount for madden or something to make up for all these bugs and glitches that make the game an unfinished product. We are getting charged more for these next gen games and other than graphics,they are far worse than the last gen ones.GO DAWGS!Comment

Not to mention the fact that every draft year the best 15 players were DE... but that's Madden not NCAA. However the flaws in AI are eerily similar.Not that it matters at this point, I guess, but you may have been too far along for it to take effect. The issue (as I recall) was with FA's disappearing, so if you had already lost your FA's then the patch was useless to your franchise, I'd imagine, as it fixed the issue causing them to disappear (and did not, obviously, bring back the ones that did). I never had the problem at all, as the patch came out before I got far enough for it to be an issue, but it sucks that roster/franchise issues are so prevalent in next gen sports games

If noticing all the bugs and glitches in this years game, makes us ''trolls,'' add me to the troll side, too - Because I think the game stinks, as it stands right now. Spending countless hours trying to find a way around the slider issue, is ridiculous. Complete game killer right there, at least for me.Comment

Here's a thought................................just play the damn game and quit obsessing over stuff that doesn't really matter. Sure it would be nice if there wasn't some bugs, but every game has them.
Spend some quality time with the game and accept it for what it is and you just might find yourself having some........wait for it................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .......FUN?Comment

Tried that. But without working sliders for the CPU, my skills are just so good, that winning every single game, just isn't as ''fun'' as I thought it would be. Now, I could go online and play against other people, but playing against 15 year olds, also isn't as fun as it was made out to be.
So, I'll wait it out, and see if the 2nd patch will include my ''fun'' factor. Otherwise, the game stinks. I do appreciate your attempt to make the game less of a stinker for me, though. There is some kind folk in the world after all.Comment

Let's all keep some perspective here. Yes, the game has some bugs that should have been tested and caught before the game was pressed. I used to be in the video game/computer field, so I know that companies aren't testing enough these days. They rely too much on patches since they can. Issuing a patch in my day was a big failure (but, we did it sometimes) and the team caught heck for it. But, to be fair, these games and systems are much more complex than when I used to do it. But, it is all relative.
What I am personally happy to see is EA coming on here and addressing these issues to those of us on OS unlike in the past. They also have already made one patch to address the rosters issue, and they may be able to address some of the other glaring issues in another patch. I thought they were pretty quick about it, and I hope that MS gets it out this week. I am sure MS is quite a bureaucracy however.
Personally, I think that if some of the major bugs and a few gameplay issues are addressed we will have a solid game this year. It is already better than last years version to me, but to be honest with you, I have had more fun on older versions on the Xbox and PS2. If they don't address these issues in a patch, especially special teams, and completion % imo, then we shouldn't buy the product next year without trying it out first.Comment

I got my piss and vinegar out yesterday, and so feel much better. I do have a question about this rumored second patch. Adam, of course, has said that he can't really comment on this at the moment, and I understand the reasons for that. Has it actually been confirmed by anyone in the know that a second patch is actually being worked on, that it will actually come out at some point? I ask because Adam's post didn't seem to provide a solid answer, and Ian's post about the overwhelmingly positive response and the inaccuracy of the "knee-jerk reactions" leads me to believe that there very well may not be a second, gameplay related patch to deal with things like completion percentages, handicapped defense, etc.
Please correct me if I'm wrong and there has been a hard confirmation--this is strictly and information-seeking post, not a flaming post.Comment
