Does Running Seem A Little Too Easy

Is it just me, or does running seem, just a little too easy.
I started a Legend with a running back, and attended FSU.
After 2 weeks of practice, I became the starter.
The first game I played was against FCS Southeast,
Or something like that. I only rushed for about 30 yards,
Because my team suddenly became in love with the pass.
The only problem with that, I had about 200 yards receiving.
I thought, this was just for one guy.
I finished the season 13-0, getting ready to play,
Oklahoma for the BCS Title.

Here's the problem.

My running back, as a freshman, overall rating, 92,
Broke the school and NCAA receptions record, with 107,
Broke the school and NCAA receptions TD record, with 31,
" " " rushing yards record with 2316 yds.
And broke the (blahblah) record for rushing TDs with 32.

It just doesnt seem right.

I tried all different types of sliders I've seen on here,
Even tried my own,
I felt really comfortable with the RB ability at 30, he seemed,
Much slower.
I didnt juke every single player on the team,
So I felt good, but the defenses tackling was horrible,
Until I passed the first down marker.

I'm a USC fan,
And at first, I was going to attend USC,
Compete with the tailbacks there,
Maybe practice for a whole half season before I became the starter,
But watch the team lose to Ohio St. wouldn't be so festive.
But I know that, in the 2nd season,
I would be doing the same exact thing, breaking records here and there,
And when it comes time for me to import him into Madden,
His rating might be too high??

Is a Legend with a WR more realistic?

Is anyone having this same problem,
Or if you've found a solution with,
The greatest sliders, please help me.
