Having EA here increases links, traffic, and the sites credibility in the eyes of a less-niche audience. Given the amount of Ads on this site, one would assume anytime there's a spike in traffic, there's going to be a boost in revenue.
I can see why there would be incentive to keep EA and their Devs/Reps happy.
Good to know. All I can say is we don't have any sneaky motives. Do we like to see traffic rise? Yes. Would we do it if it meant selling out the site's credibility? No, because then there was no point in doing this stuff in the first place.
