7 minutes was the quarter time I used for 08'. Total plays (both teams) always ended between 115 to 125, which was great. Currently for 09' I have been using 6 minute quarters getting about 30 to 45 plays a game, including punts. I am no way a stat junkie, but like having the number of plays per game and per team to be close to accurate to the NCAA, which is approximately 120 plays (both teams combined).
