Umm, it's not that hard to understand. Court spacing has ALWAYS been an issue with 2k game. The players are too big, the courts are too small. Gets crowded way too often. See Live for good spacing.

All you peolpe do is complain when your gonna be the first in line to get the game. i see peolpe keep saying that the players are sliding..if you can do better than go do it..if you cant "SHUT THE PUCK UP". None of yall Know would know a good thing it was on top of your simple azz heads. No one has made a valid point to make me see how this early build doesn't look great. I said this already...If you wanna hear about flashy new features then go WACK OFF TO NBA Live 09, cuz thats all you get is features with no subtance.

Do you see how pucking small and unlife like that models are in nba live..dont give me that trash as a perfect example. I would rather play NBA 09 then NBA Live any day.

Yes I hate that!

Overall looks like 2K8 with some additional animations and player reactions.

EA is closing the gap from what I've seen from NBA Live 2009. Should be fun to see what both will offer as they battle for video basketball game supremacy!

This is why we don't release videos until we feel the game is ready. People see early footage and make up their mind. Things are looking incredibly better in the current build, trust me.

Regarding the commentary, Kellogg was in the game for maybe 3-4 days at the point when this build was made. Yes, we kept SOME of the same lines that Kenny had, but there is also a LOT of new content. At the time of this build, none, to very little, of that was implemented in the game. You guys are looking at footage that is 1/4+ of a year away from shipping.

We're not going to let you down; the level of yelling and excitement I hear from people playing around the office on a daily basis is more than I've heard in years. Top to bottom, this is easily the best game in the NBA 2k series. You don't have to take my word for it; you'll see for yourself in a couple months.

Good to hear Sim. The 2k games are the only games in my life that I play year round and I'd be playing 2k8 right now if my 360 wasn't down for the count. Without asking specifically for you to give us new info, I ask when can we expect to get some more official info and media?

That isn't the final build so don't expect to see everything the game has to offer.

As for the commentary...

Don't expect it to be TOO MUCH better. It's just too difficult to get these "star" commentators in with enough time to make worthwhile recordings. Can you imagine asking this guy to say a line and he just reads it? What can you do, ask him to read it again at the risk of him walking out on you? I admit I was baffled by the fact that he read the same exact lines as Kenny. This game is DYING for new audio. It adds so much to the experience.

Gameplay-wise the game is tightened up though for sure. If you enjoyed 2k8, expect a better, less cheesy game. I still expect guys to end up giving Live a shot because it is "fresh" though. But if you compared the games head to head...

Looked eh to me. Players seem so out of control at times. Graphics looked great though and im really glad they fixed the Lakers away jersey

I was JUST about to complain...Very glad to hear this...bring it on, u got mine as well as my pack of friends $60 bucks jumping like wild animals in the bank vault, waiting to be spent on this game...Bring the goods!!!!...lol

You have no worries from me. Same thing happens every year, and people have really short memories if they say it doesn't. Live has released info extra early for the past few years and in the end I get a terrible/average game. 2k keeps it kool, releases footage when they're ready and I get an amazing game I play all year until the next is released. Hell I'm still playing 2k8 with people like it just came out.
