Game looked pretty good, player movement looked alot more natural. Commentary IS SOOOOOO OUTDATED. So scripted, not natural at all. I don't like having to cut the commentary off because it takes away the experience for me (since I dont ever cut it off when I watch a real game).

It wasnt. Didnt they prohibit OS from taping or taking screenshots of this presentation?

Some things looked good and some things looked bad. I'll trust Simballer when he says that the commentary has been changed and out of the 3 lines i heard from Kellogg...one was new. I hope that at the very least they fix the crowd sounds so they cheer at the right times. The crowd was silent during the alley oop.

I believe they prohibited all media outlets from doing anything. That's why I feel this tape was "leaked."

And it doesn't accurately portray the game with what you saw. Much was left out in that build... I'm guessing.

I just watched the video and thought it looked better than last year's version. As for the crowd audio, outside the lack of cheering for Garnett's dunk at the end of the quarter, I thought it was loud and boisterous. Just listen to how "quiet" it got after some big shots by the Lakers; those fans were screaming their heads off from the get go.

I know I shouldn't look at any of these early clips, but I'm too weak to resist. It should be against the law to show any sports vids on Default level settings are lower. Leak a WIP clip with the A.I. dumbed down, 30 lashes for you.

The one good think about seeing this early clip is that is caused a mini meltdown and got SimBaller to come out of the basement and drop a little info on us.

Things may change as more information comes out, and vids of the complete build are shown about 6 weeks from now, but at this moment even if you're too busy for two games, or don't want to pony up the cash, I don't see how any true basketball junkie is going to be able to resist buying at least two NBA games.

Kenny's commentary script shouldn't even be in the game anymore.
This game needs some serious ad libs and fresh commentary altogether, not a repeat of lines.

The commentary shouldn't be scripted.

They should just script every possible game situation they need in a few hours of gameplay, play it back to the commentators, and let the game with only the crowd and basketball noises be their guide for commentary.

Last year's buzzer-beater shot commentary was awful and emotion-less. If they actually saw a buzzer beater go in at the end of a virtual game that they've watched the entirety of, they'd be a lot more into it than reading off of a script.

One thing that kinda bothers me is the heavily contested close-range shots that were being made. Pierce got caught in triple teams a few times and would just wet floaters regardless of who was in front of him (6'10" Odom and 7' Gasol and Bynum).

Good defense needs to be rewarded more than it was last year.

+crowd looks great.

+dude controlling the players has terrible movement with the rock.

I wish I could've seen a bit more but the game looks like it's shaping up pretty well. Doesn't look like anything dramatic has been changed. Like everyone else, I'm a bit dissapointed with the commentary. NBA Live's graphics look great to me, if I could get them in this game I'd be set. Hopefully we will start hearing more about the 5 on 5 soon. I really want to see that in action.

There's gotta be some kind of in-between though. Last year wide open layups would get missed.

That's what I was hoping... but even still, on a default level (which I'm guessing this demo was played on) I don't want to see this happening.

The best part is where he said its not about 50 new features its about features that matter. haha. Love the cheap shot to EA.

Personally i think the court looks bigger which is a good thing. I know people say court spacing is horrible, but to me it looks better then in 2k8.

Video is fairly dark. I want to see a better video with better lighting. I think its just a handheld cam version. So with that even the sound is going to sound different.
