So yea...if Rondo can get up the court like that on a Fastbreak, imagine how fast players like Monta and CP3 and Leandro Barbosa will get up the court lol

Re: NBA 2K9 Video Footage (Multiplayer.it)
That was incredibly underwhelming and dare I say worse than Live 09's footage. The only thing better is the net animations... I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because they are the leader in Basketball, and this was likely an early build. But do you really think they would get Kellogg and Miller to record filler phrases? Don't be surprised if all we get is the same commentary with different voices. That's what seems to be the case here.
The one redeeming factor: End of quarter highlights.Comment

Re: Saw this on the 2k sports forums
There seems to be an obvious fear from 2K that it will affect the sales of their games or people making up their minds about what the final product looks like by watching early release videos.
Until then you get all the doubt and whining for information that doesnt come until the last few of weeks before release.
It has nothing to do with being smart or dumb.
I can understand they dont want their final work judged on something as as build a few months old but seems the criticisms sting as much as the praise of appreciation of the hard work.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Video Footage (Multiplayer.it)
Looks like 2k8 to me...
And why did the crowd not cheer when the C's got an alley opp at the ened of the quarter after the guy preached presentation?
And why are the announcers saying the same sh!% from last year, and the crowd noises are the same fake sh!%!
Ofcourse it will be a good game, but those presentation details really annoy me!Blackhawks - Bulls - Cubs - BearsComment

The difference in speed between Ellis and Rondo is maybe a three tenths of a second.Comment

Remember in 2k8 KG did the routine where, he would put the ball behind his head before he shot the ball.Comment
