I believe they prohibited all media outlets from doing anything. That's why I feel this tape was "leaked."

That and the fact that the video looked like a cheap $5 dollar bootleg movie kinda gives away this wasn't supposed to be seen by the general public.

didnt you here simballer dont worry about the commentary miller kellog and harland will come in after the game is all ready so they can talk about all the updated rosters its still the of season you know trades can happen still

You do realize, this means they are most likely still capturing commentary lines one at a time? That means incredibly choppy commentary will be awaiting us yet again. I don't understand how hard it is to simply scrap the script all together and have the two commentators watch a few 48 minute games being played through the game. That way it feels more natural. You can just substitute names and numbers where need be. It's just a little concerning that they still haven't been able to listen to our suggestions about how to capture NATURAL commentary, which is something that Live has been spanking the 2K series in for years now.

But hey, the game is still a few months from release. If I see footage of some REAL commentary in the game, I'll take back what I say. But I'm beginning to think they are using the same methods that they used before.

Hey guys im still pretty new to this forum, Who is SimBaller. Is he a 2K dev or does he just work for them. Based on a post from him i read it looks like it. I got kinda excited from him sayin the people in the office have been yelling and screaming while playing the game. Someone just make it clear to me who SimBaller is.

Damn, now that yall talking about those old shootout games..they had a pretty nice controll system for the dunks and passing. That was the only thing that was good about it.

I'm not around here much but judging from the things I see he comes arouind once and a while to give us info. I guess you will see him post more as we get close to release date of the game.

As for what he said about the game progress, I figured it was an early build and I can't wait to see a more recent build.

The video was nice, the games was a bit fast and sliding.
***EVERY B-ALL GAME WILL HAVE SLIDING SO SHUT UP ABOUT IT***.

The graphics are better and Kenny Smith says the same thing with a different voice. *** I KNOW ITS NOT KENNY***

Keep dissing 2K and hyping up Live (which is cool) but until Oct no one knows which game will be the best.

Was a big Live fan and will never touch it again because the gameplay hasn't changed since 95.
*** SAME RUN, CROSSOVER 10 TIMES, AND UNREALISTIC MOTIONS ***

I believe Live and 2K has made great improvements for 2009.

Oh yeah, it looks like they saved the replays for the breaks. If so, that's the best info I got from that vid. Showing replays right after made baskets never felt right.

I don't think you should take anything we say so painfully. We are glad that things like this are leaked out, I think you guys should release this on your own, in the early stages, so that the criticism and words of the consumer could help you improve as you guys are in early development.

Yeah, I like what EA says they'll be doing in the future. Why not release vids as early as possible to get feedback? As we know, a small development team is not going to catch everything. The more eyes on early development, the more complaints, the better. Learn to embrace it VC.
