I am still on the fence for '09. I was frustrated last year with '08, but I started playing it again recently as I have been reading impressions of the new game.

For whatever reason, I am enjoying '08 more than I did last year. I don't know if it is because of lowered expectations, or perhaps that patch last December helped or maybe I have read about the new issues in '09 that aren't a problem in '08???....or perhaps maybe a combination of those reasons???

But now that the dust has settled a bit (emotions tend to run high right after release), I would also be interested in some opinions between the two games.
