I third this... not only that, but having to push X (PS3) when playing defense to access the defensive playmaker controls is one of the most counter intuitive measures I have seen added to any game. The PS2 version of switching players pre-snap on the defense was ideal (O to cycle forwards, X backwards, and then just pushing the specific buttons without pushing anything first to adjust the playmaker controls). The way the current control scheme is set up, it makes it very difficult to adjust anything before the CPU (or online opponent) snaps it.
Another 2 features that were not added to the PS3 version are: 1) ability to assign a specific defender to an opponent's receiver or RB; 2)ability to only "jam" a specific opposing receiver at the line without having to press all your defenders. Simple things like these were already in last gen (PS2).. and since this is my first year playing PS3, it makes their omissions that much glaring. Is there any chance of these things making it onto the DLC? Other than that - great job with the patches/ DLC !
