For the 360 are you able to get the patch without a gold membership? I know for sure as of today the only way to get a roster update is with a gold membership and when you start a ranked game becasue I tried it with my silver today. So I used a 48 hour code I had today just to get the roster update. But I fear the patches wont be available to me after the next two days. Anyone able to confirm that you can download the patch with just a silver?

I really want to get the update once they fix the field degrade problem. I played a game in heavy rain today and by the end the uniforms were a muddy mess but the field was not torn up at all. Funny thing is, last year was the opposite the field would look like a mudhole but the uniforms were nice and white.

The 360 version of the 1st patch doesn't drop until the 14th.

Patches = silver or gold
rosters = gold only

strange because once i connected online with madden, it prompt me to a download. i didnt know what it was but i did it anyways.

i have the silver membership btw.

I've never used the online option or even attempted it before today. I attempted to go into the online area on xbox live and I kept getting a message about limitations to my membership. Am I perhaps doing something wrong to begin with? I'd really like to get the updated roster. If I'm not able to use this option, where else can I get the rosters? I believe I have the transfer kit somewhere still so I should be able to download it somewhere still?


Speaking of, is Pacman not listed anywhere because he's still on the suspended list? I don't recall even seeing him in the free agent listings.

Well thats great that the patches will be available to silver members. But it is still lame that you have to be a gold member to get roster updates. For me I had gold for year and I just never play console games online so paying for a membership each year just to get madden rosters seems like a waste to me.

im not sure what i downloaded but i know it wasnt the rosters

but anyways cheechdogg75s has the updated rosters ready to download in the roster section.

I had to reformat the harddrive I had it on. Is the datel kit the same as action replay? I have that disk.. I think.

Yea, I agree rosters should be available to Silver members. I will probably go ahead and get Gold and get my 360 online in the Entertainment room soon. I am getting tired of having to reconfigure my Airport Express (I use it exclusively for streaming music via iTunes digitally to a DAC via Toslink and then to a receiver) to be a connection to my Xbox 360 when I want to get patches, etc.

I will post the roster updates in Xchange 360 format when I do for those of you that don't have Gold if no one else does it. I will be a Good Samaritan as I have appreciated all the roster updates posted on here for me when I was still on dial-up a couple of years ago.

does ne1 know if the patch will fix the freezing problem and the disconnect glitch the freezing problem is more important

A Game Speed Slider or even a slight tweak to the overall speed of the game would be reeeeeeeeal nice EA. How bout' it?

The game speed is certainly not outrageous as it is now, but I think a slight lowering of it may do the game well.

I really hope one of the devs reads this.

Is it possible to add the still image feature like in NCAA 09 in a patch? I think that was a great feature and I'm really missing that.

Also, the endzone celebrations were hyped up a lot and I'm loving them, but can you make it so it shows in the replay? It always cuts it off as soon as he starts to move. This would be really great, as many of us upload our video highlights and would love to have these added.

Patch #2 seems like it has the potential to make this game close to perfect as far as gameplay. CPU sliders, CPU accuracy, and the CPU running OOB for no reason is a pretty big issue with the game right now.
