Thanks for the update Haval.

Didn't really like those videos because it was player vs player and both of them just tried to push the break or dribble until they got a dunk or layup.

The new freethrow mechanic looks pretty easy to use, and it seems like its going to make shooting freethrows with terrible shooters really hard. I mean if fishers amount was that small then I don't even want to think about Shaq, it will probably be impossible to make freethrows with him.

Loved it. I want something different this year, so im leaning heavily towards NBA live 09. Still will love to see some gameplay vids from the competition before final decision.

Same feeling here....I hate to buy two bball games this year so I have to have 1. I still can't believe how smooth B. Diddy's dribbling animation!

ehh.. I wouldn't get excited about that. I could be wrong but from what i've seen it looks like quickstrike ballhandling is very similar between players and i'm hating that crossover animation. Maybe for Baron Davis, but i've seen a video that has Dirk do the same move and take it to the cup in Live 09. Not pretty...

The gameplay looks the same as 2008 minus some awkward animations. But sadly, alot of them are still in the game. The hype is dying off for me. Typical EA, showboating there new features but when we finally see gameplay it's like, WTF? I'll still try out the demo and see how it plays. But as of right now, my hopes aren't too high for this game.

What's so special about BD dribblin? It looks like the same as that Dirk crossover they been showin.
