That vid was pretty fun to watch the game definitely animates better, and it looked a lot better than the other vids I've seen so far. Live is looking like a buy for me this year I just need to play the demo to see if its completely worth it.

Czar, let the whole thing load before playing it -- it was really smooth for me.

And I didn't think the gameplay was that bad sim-wise -- they liked driving it to the hoop, but nothing too egregious. It wasn't like they were just isoing constantly and running in circles to get there -- also, I think the guys playing were trying to show off some moves at one point (you see the finger point to the screen, etc.)... Court spacing looked GREAT -- that kick-out to Pavlovic after the double team on the break was WIDE OPEN.. no chance the defender could've gotten there in time (which is how it should be).

The only questionable-looking shot was Gibson taking that weird-looking runner (dude must've hit X haha) and somehow making it with the man in his face. Otherwise, everything was pretty realistic and looked right.

Oh yea and I'm feeling the new free throw mechanic. The Lebron cutscene looked amazing as well.

This is looking pretty good. Animations are way better than last year.

Yeah, Lebron did have quite a few plays in the video, didn't he? A couple of monster dunks and the "And 1" play. Looks like his jumpshot has changed (added his sig shot for Live '09 perhaps?) and great cutscene with Lebron and Gibson. I really like the new free throw mechanics as well.

Overall, I'd say that '09 is a solid improvement over last year's game. I liked how Lebron looks too, more detailed and I think with a beard. Attention to details like that keeps me coming back and playing again and again.

Definitely getting Live '09 this year. Looks like it's going to be a great year for NBA gamers this year.

haha, I was just about to say that as soon as I saw that picture. I just wanted to read the comments first, then I saw yours. Game looks great might get this game this year rather than 2k9

I did not read through the whole thread. Did anybody hear audio or is the video mute. The billups wide open lay up looked akward. There was no need for him to put the ball over his head like that on a open layup. I would of liked to have seen some more post up moves but the guys were playing like it was a pick up game. The replay graphics look great. I still need to see more videos and play a demo before im sold on this.
