I have been able to come up with a pretty solid set of aa sliders thanks to this patch, I have eliminated robo qb for the most part, cut down on ints. And been able to generate decent line pressure. The cpu run block slider seems to have some effect on pass blocking as well. I dropped the run blocking to 40. set the cpu rba at 80. So far its working for me they run the ball decent.


I would personally rather not deal with robo qb or line pressure. I would rather give up a lilttle in the cpu run game. ill be posting my set soon in the slider section btw

i just lost on AA for the first time in forever...
had my lowest scoring game too.. 10-7. i got some sacks! crazy how it works now.

still too many interceptions though. there were like 4 or 5 and it was on 10 for both cpu and user

Are pursuit angles fixed? Or can you fix them with sliders??

Quick question: What is Strafe Catch? I've heard it has been fixed. Is this the same as the warp catch problem? (i.e. a player would slide 4-5 yards and make a catch that would otherwise go incomplete.)

I don't have any news to report on PS3 yet. Hopefully they get it out soon.

I'm going on vacation for a week so I won't be able to keep you updated. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

Pretty sure you can still strafe catch...I was able to do it easily in practice mode.

I don't change sliders for each team. My slider set is the same no matter who I play. I was just changing the human sliders for RBA and RBL every time the cpu got the ball to actually have a human and cpu slider set. With the patch, I won't have to do that ever again.




You are dead wrong. Break block affects both the DL ability to break a block in pass rush situations AND run defense situations. If the cpu pass block is at 0 and human break block at 100, the cpu is at a -100 relative pass block score. If CPU run block was at 100, the cpu run block is at 0 for a relative score. Break block affects both and always has.

You have your opinion and I have mine....but you are dead wrong.....If you think that putting break block at 100 for human and cpu pass block at 0, you will get a pass rush you are nuts

the pass rush comes from the cpu pass block only...

human break block affects the cpu run game....

you are killing the cpu run game and then complaning about it if you put the settings like that....

My PSN store is updated....Kratos HSG4 character and other demos....no NHL 09 demo...

But no update when I turn on my NCAA 09 as well....looks like we won't get it today....hoping I'm wrong...

Patch updates have nothing to do with Store updates though. Sony releases patches as they become available.
