Pardon my ignorance, but weren't they supposed to fix the interceptions with this patch? I'm still seeing an insane amount of interceptions with the slider on ZERO for both the CPU and USER...

This is it for me...I can't even enjoy the dynasty on this game. I had more fun with the Dynasty on NCAA 06 on my PS2...

sorry EA but even with this patch, YOU FAIL. You lost a customer today.

That was never something they were going to address. The computer does throw too many, but I think that's a far deeper issue than a patch can cover... it's an AI issue. The computer QB throws too many stupid passes. The only way to address that through tuning is to make defenders either morons or stone hands.

Patches can't be shared as they are invisible to the user on the HDD.

you can get to the updates if you had a xsata or xport. but you can't transfer patches to a memory card, at least not that i know of.

Now that the 2nd patch is out...

Is this game worthy of a purchase? I'm tempted to pick this up after cashing on the Gamestop trade-in deal, but am a bit hesitant after reading all the problems/issues guys have been having with the game.

I have done a lot of complaining the last few weeks so it only fair that I comment on this new patch. It has made a HUGE improvement I think. The game still has some problems which can hopefully be worked out for next year but most of the issues that existed were either fixed or improved a little. The game is playable by my standards so I thank you for giving us a pretty good patch in a timely fashion.

What was once a wild shootout kind of game before the patch has turned into a defensive struggle in the two games I played tonight and I got some fairly realistic results with minor tweaking of the sliders.

Uh, not really. Seems to me all they had to do was make the INT slider more responsive. They could have certainly done that with patch #2.

As far as I'm concerned, if the INT slider is at 0, defenders should be incapable of catching the ball. Stone hands. They really have to make the INT slider work like magic for 2010, because excessive INTs have nearly killed this game for two years running.
