Man, what a difference a patch can make. It isn't perfect but man, how improved. I can play pass defense!! My guys don't look at their zones like morons.. Haven't played much but what I have, it has made my NCAA playing much more enjoyable. Pass rush still sucks some and now I am seeing a little more INT's but whatever. I am not one of those guys that requires super realism. I just want a game that plays right! This helps NCAA out a lot!! Now unless Madden fixes their Franchise problems, NCAA is the better game..

EA still has a lot of work to do though.. The lack of last-gen features is still pitiful. This game does officially "work" now.. How awesome is that??

Ok this patch is beautiful, just finished a 26-20 game online...absolutely wonderful, I was tired of the 65-60 games where I would throw my controller because I couldnt play defense for s***. The strafe catch thing..love it, no more cheesers doing it online on offense. Zone is a lot better, Im going to play this a lot more now.

Is this game worthy of a purchase? I'm tempted to pick this up after cashing on the Gamestop trade-in deal, but am a bit hesitant after reading all the problems/issues guys have been having with the game.

Game was worth the purchase before the patch. Funny, my computer went down and Ive been having a blast with both NCAA and Madden and come on to see the negative opinions like these games are unplayable LOL. Just goes to show you how you cant pay attention to some things. People just love to complain. Both games have flaws but are fun as hell.

The game has improved, no question. Still far too many interceptions being thrown by the CPU, though. It's getting so bad, that I'm going to have to make a house rule of walking them out of bounds.

Are the recruiting glitches gone post-patch? Hopefully so. It was brutal playing an online dynasty with users glitching the recruiting engine. Please tell me it is fixed!!!

What recruiting exploits were there? I keep hearing about these "exploits", but no one can give any details.

I'm not sure if this was one of the recruiting glitches, but it's been "fixed" after the patch #2.

It was where you could spend 1-10 hours on a single player feeding top pitches (Most, very high, and very high, etc) without recruits ever getting ticked off because of a long phone call (The football face). Whenever the football face turned mad, you had the option to "hard sell" a different pitch that had it as high, very high, and most to continue the phone call. That way, it was possible to spend 10 hours on a single recruit. Which pretty much meant you had that player locked.

After the patch #2, you can no longer do that.

Being able to talk to a recruit for too long and removing a recruit from your board after a visit and offering him a scholarship again and another visit.

When it gets rediculous on INT's or Punt Returns I just immediately fall down.....

Another patch in which the Microsoft gets it out before Sony.....I think next year Sony needs to work with EA to get us some extra bonus feature exclusive to our platform.

Really, These EA guys are starting to be restarted, release the patch for the PS3 already, whats the hold up, when they knew they were doing it for the 360 they should have did it for the PS3 too. Please don't give me it's a whole other team that released for the 360, like NIKE says, and Billy Madison, "JUST DO IT"
