My ethernet port stopped working. Got mine back in 8 days with a letter saying they had replaced my old console with a new one. It's amazing how quiet the newer consoles are compared to the earlier versions. Was happy with the service I recieved, but still does not make up for the fact this is my 7th console in 2 years. I think Gamespot still offers a one year warranty for about 50 bucks to. Better than a two week wait I guess. I feel your pain
