Many of us have grabbed Lanterix's original without a problem. Was that the file you used? CDJ's from NCAA Strategies is supposed to be error free as well. Too bad OMT couldn't run a test on these things for us to confirm which files are corrupt and which ones aren't. I thought that any corrupt file wasn't even supposed to work after patch #1?

I used my own file where I named the entire BCS conference teams. I stopped once I heard of the bug and after the patch proceeded to name the rest of the teams. Well, I finished C-USA and stopped to do a "play now' game and noticed that FIU didnt' have any ratings. I took my rosters into dynasty, just the BCS conferences and tried to name the rest in there, but it didn't work.

You can ONLY get the patch through the in game online connection. You can't get the patch any other way (ie. no e-mailed files, flash drives, etc.). If you don't have an internet connection at your house for the PS3, you'll have to take it to a friend's house. It's worth it though just for the working sliders.

Anyone else having issues downloading patch #2? I get to 7%, 8%, then it freezes and disconnects me. I can log on, get into the ps store, etc. but it won't stay connected long enough to download the full patch. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help.

Try going into your Network Settings and make sure the setting for Media Server Connection is "Disabled" then try again. I used to always have that as "Enabled" to connect to my PC in the room, but was always getting kicked offline and it logging my ID on and off three or four times an hour. I called Sony and they advised me to "Disable" it when I am not actually trying to connect to my PC to leave it "Disabled" as default.

Still Doesn't seem like the LB's play their zone areas.

I agree. It's either that or the CPU QBs throw the ball so hard to where my gLB cannot get into position to make a play. Either way nothing in that area has changed after the 2nd patch.

Thanks for the advice. This worked. Played a few games with the new patch and the game is amazing. Best next gen football game I've played. Looking forward to the Madden patch and hopefully the DLC. Thanks again!!

Hi, What version number does the patch take the game to? I placed the game into my ps3 and it installed a patch which was version 1.20 about 20meg. Is this the correct version?

Anyone having more online lag since this patch? It seems the lag is alot worse in my online dynasty now than it was pre-patch. Not sure if this is the issue but just kinda odd it wasnt a real problem before the patch. I have wireless, would it help to run a line directly from my router to the PS3?

Yes! Pre-patch I was lag free. Post-patch I have been laggy in my OD. Very annoying!!

Also, why did they have to take away the strafe catch? I thought it worked great for both D and O. Now it's just left up to the CPU animation. No human involvement.

I was having a lot of fun with this game. Now it's kinda turned into past versions. Don't know why people complained so much about it and why EA had to mess with it. Patches should fix players leaving early glitch, stats glitches, etc. Not gameplay.

I'm still seeing horrible zone coverage post-patch. I played NCAA 2004 again and realized exactly what good zone coverage looks like and NCAA 2009 is huge step backward from the kind of zone and man coverage we saw 5 freaking years ago in this series.

My biggest gripe is I take the worst team in NCAA 2009 and beat the best team almost every time. In NCAA 2004 when I take the worst team and play the best teams I get pounded almost every time...that's how it should be.
