will the graphics and gameplay be completely overhauled? and ask them if they give a crap what kind of product they put out? o and ask if how many white players will be black, and how many bald players will have hair visa versa.guys here

Is this game starting from scratch or is it a sequel to march madness?
If it is being started over did all the teams make it in?
How is recruiting being implemented similar to ncaa football or a different system?
60 fps?
Will there be an ea locker for rosters in this game?
Will rosters be full editable? ratings appearance and equipment?

i was a hoops fan,moving over to ncaa basketball now. i just wondering if we will be able to export players off ncaa on to nba live?

It was confirmed on the NBA Live side that draft class imports are not in this year.

***NCAA 09 Community Day Event Q&A***(Tomba321)

Hey guys!

As the community leader, I'll be going out to EA next week for the event personally. Rest assured (still haven't played the NBA live demo) I'll be up to my own pressuring as well. I'm dying to see what makes these guys game tick. So I naturally have few questions of my own regarding the game's game play (I as well as playmakers were personally responsible for the game flow edits you guys used in NCAA March Madness 08 and NBA live 08 respectively). The game's features and modes like dynasty etc are very much a part of the games longivity, so I want to understand what will make this years games different than last years in that regard.

Other questions I've had even since last year are more along the lines of what goes into the game as opposed to what doesn't within a one year development cycle, so I'll be asking away myself. But, I'd love to see some of the questions you guys might have.

I'll be able to better compile them thread, so that I can gather up a general outlook of the community's concerns and most importantly interests.

I'll be on reguarly from now until Sunday...

Yes, we asked this a couple of months ago.

Please, continue with the questions. I know this title is typically lacking interest here at OS but with CHoops going down I realize some of you will want a replacement.

Ask away and I'm sure you questions will be answered one way or another.

Just to clarify, is this the same compilation of questions as Tomba's thread? Are you and Tomba going to the event?

1) Are the rosters going to be improved? Ratings, numbers, appearances, etc were all terrible in MM08 for the most part. This goes for current and classic teams. Some of the low-majors only had a few "real" players on the roster, the other guys didn't match up with anyone IRL. Some of the All-Time teams didn't have any real players.

2) Is everything about a player going to be editable? Is the edit menu going to be smoother and quicker? It took painfully long to edit players and rosters last year.

3) Real schedules finally in?

4) Are the new gameplay features in Live (defense, ankle break, etc) going to be in NCAA 09?

5) Are the animations going to be improved a la Live 09?

6) And for the fun of it, are black socks in this year?

The socks? good question. I know it's a "little" thing but man it makes a diff.it's just another thing that can be removed from your mind and not have to be wanted in the game every time you might look at it,so thats valid.


and yes, being an editor myself i'd like to know if these editing functions actually function ...WELL. easy of use is key because with so many on the rosters time is everything and quickness is needed to complete them. on top of this i see a real need for global editing of attributes like there was in NBA Live 08 last year. it broke my heart and fingers inputting everything in one by one by one by one by one....

1) Multiplayer Franchise or Season Mode?
2) Can you play/watch every game in a season or can you only play your team's games?

I second the real schedules(for every team) question, this is a big one to me. I really don't have many questions, and when you guys play it can you tell us if the animations seem fluid, on 08 some just looked horrible.
