I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my drive because I never even get to the white screen. It pops up in my dashboard that I can't play it and names it NFL 2k5. I can't remember the message here at work. Something to the effect that there are no updates to play this game and lists NFL 2k5 at the bottom.

Thanks, I will look into the hard drive cache thing. Does this effect game saves at all or is it just the patches?
