Because as far as game releases go, the time for teasers is over. Inside a month of release, you're supposed to supply gamers with the information they need to decide on their purchases. Games are 60 bucks now, and it's a courtesy to your fan base to give them the opportunity to make informed choices. "Teasing" inside of a month of release is inconsiderate, and people are reacting.
Again, in stark contrast, the competition has given gamers a demo. I don't want 2k to rush out a demo, but it'd be nice if they did their best to make sure the customers were taken care of from an information standpoint.
