NHL 2K9 Developer Diary #4 - Double Dose
This week's NHL 2K9 Developer Diary features a double dose of web related action with diaries from Online Producer Felicia Whitehouse and Web Engineer Tristan Hodge about their respective work on NHL 2K9. Check out what both had to say about the new features in NHL 2K9 in their NHL 2K9 Developer Diary and then hop on over to the NHL 2K9 Screenshot Page for some new screenshots of the game!
"Finally, in NHL 2K9 you will be able to access just about everything about your online game on the 2K Community website. You can create a 2K account and you’ll be given your own page where you can access and manage all of your media uploads, get updates on your league, keep track of your place on the Team 2K Leaderboard, and meet up with other NHL 2K9 gamers. We’ve made a ton of additions to our league websites, which you will hear about from our Web Engineer, Tristan. But I can’t hold out on the PS3 gamers out there. This year you’ll finally be able to manage your leagues on the website too."Tags: None -

Overall, it definitely sounds like 2K has done a good job on the game and it's new features thus far. We should have a review up tomorrow, we'll see what kind of progress 2K has made! Unless the review is glowingly negative (very doubtful) this one will probably be worth picking up.Comment

Online leagues rock, especially with the amount of stats they seem to add. For me , online leagues is the future of sport games.Comment

Re: NHL 2K9 Developer Diary #4 - Double Dose
Nothing even comes close to a well-managed online video game league, and the only company that does it right is 2K (sans some of the annoying bugs of the past).
Great to see that the PS3 finally has webiste access - it was always frustrating to know that the PS2 leagues had websites but not the PS3 leagues.Been gaming since the Atari 2600, and hells no I won't stop!!!Comment
