I have one huuge 500 song playlist for break in play songs, and it works perfect. Custom soundtracks are done very well in NHL 09. You can make custom arena sounds for every team in the game and that's cool. Goal Songs don't work so good, but intros, penalty songs, break in play songs etc rocks!

I still have all my songs (300+) from MLB 2K8, so my work is virtually done. Thank god for streaming from a PC/Laptop to the 360.

Yeah, I realize that more then 1 song works but not being able to change the goal horn REALLY sucks since all of them are wrong.

Im clad to hear that custom soundtracks works great in X360-version.

I have made almost 500 break in play songs if you guys are interested. All songs have reverb and some nice effects, so they sound pretty good in the game .

          PACK 1 (~200 songs) (190 MB)
          PACK 2 (~100 songs) (80,7 MB)
          PACK 3 (100 songs) (53,9 MB)
          PACK 4 (100 songs) (71,5 MB)

Great job! Thanks for hooking us up.

Poro - Thanks for your hard work on this. I assume this jives with NHL 09? I had downloaded some stuff for 2k Hockey, maybe last years tunes, when I loaded them into NHL 09 (ie: Welcome to the Jungle) it was barely audible. Have you had this issue?

Second - If you haven't already done so, could you create a "Louie, Louie" by the Kingsmen ditty with reverb and all that jazz? The Lightning play it whenever St. Louis scores.

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread

Quick question. Do the stadium songs include reverb (sound like they are being played in a stadium) on the game or is this something that has to be added to the song before hand? Sorry if this has been asked already. And what's this about goal songs not working well? Can't we turn the default horn off? I have goals and goal songs on a CD for every NHL team won't those work?

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread

Also, when does the goal song begin? I remember in one of the 2K games it started the second a goal was scored so you had the song and the horn going off at the same time. I had a CD that was timed with 5-15 seconds of silence for each horn before the song started. I want to use my CD with all of the authentic horns followed by the goal songs but if it delays then it won't work.

since I am a musician (for lack of a better word, LOL) and have several music recording and editing software, I did my own stadium sounds for NCAA and added effects to make it sound just like its coming from the game. Might have to adjust my setup since hockey arenas are different than football stadiums as far as size and reverbs/delays are concerned.

Dunno if I'm doing something wrong or what setting I should adjust, but my custom sounds are very low. Anybody have this problem?? I just tried the Intro and I can hear it, just very low. The default one is much, much louder. The volume settings are maxed and I dont see any specific custom sound volume slider like in NCAA

I'm having the same problem. I have all of the goal horns from page one for each team on the playlist already. In the game though when the goal is scored the horn from EA goes off then like three seconds later the custom horn will go off but it's way too low. Is there any way to fix this?

I don't see any way to fix this other than. Turn all the other sounds down to one click. Turn the arena music up all the way. Turn the volume up and see if that works.

I messe dwith the volume sliders and got it sounding pretty good by maxing the arena music slider and lwering all others.

I'm actually gonna import some music from my PC without any reverb and see if it sounds better or worse
