ALMOST??!! I hope that info is correct. The time table we were given is about right. I'm waiting for my repaired 360 to be sent back. It would be great if I got my 360 and patch#2 before the weekend, or during the weekend. I could FINALLY start my Dallas franchise.

You can start a franchise now. The patch will allow you to continue where you left off. The progression fixes will only affect future seasons and edited players will need to be 'touched' or edited again post-patch to resolve their progression issue.

Question along these lines. If we are mid season now, and as long as we don't go past the Super Bowl will the patch work and fix progression for that first season? I.E. We apply the patch before moving on to draft/resigning, etc and then our guys will progress correctly?

It was said elsewhere several times... YES they will progress BUT every player you edited in any way (ratings, equipment) has to be edited and saved again. Otherwise they will not progress.

Thatfore I decided to start my franchise over because I did a lot of rosterchanges which I hardly remember all

1 more question actually if you could answer.

Currently after 1 season in franchise if you look at a players ratings in the depth chart some will be different to the player management screens.

I mainly notice this in WR and TE.

Do you know if that's fixed so the player ratings are the same on every screen?

Yeah i get this problem aswell... to make the players ratings match in player management and depth chart you need to go to edit the player, just change his helmet from original to something and then back to original (must remain the same) and then exit (keep without saving) and the rating should match in both profiles. This glitch is most common in wr, fb, te, k, p. im not sure why though?!?!? The rating will always change to the one in depth chart so if he was higher in player management (often the case with k, p and te) they will drop to the depth chart rating, usually 6 points. but if you don't change them they just drop at the end of season anyway thru progression... say they went up 3 points- they would actually drop 3 points on the progression screen cos they went down from 80 to 77 even tho. it's stupid but ea claim to not know of the problem.

Just be sure, players that have been traded and players who I have trained during the season, will still progress, will they?

Hey Phil, will we still lose the draft information of a player if we edit them after the patch? I don't remember seeing a definite answer to this question from you or Ian.

Are there any other workarounds to avoid Franchise freezing until the patch drops? I can't complete a game right now.

It would freeze on me when i trained my players then went directly into the game but if i back out and save after training then reload it doesnt freeze any more.

I just found out that EA has made enough earnings for the year to make a huge profit because of the millions of madden games sold, thus they are no longer care about the customer so the patch has been cancelled
