Agreed. It'll be another year of every AI team playing the same and big men not utilizing their size and strength in the post.


Everyone will say that its the best bball game ever made for the first couple of months, and then the repetitiveness will be too much to be ignored.

Cant say I agree with that. Taking into account all the videos, Ive seen the AI go to Duncan in the high and low post and Shaq in the low post. I didnt mind the Haywood shots so much because thats what he does. I watch a ton of Wizards games each year and he gets touches in the post. He just sucks so he rarely is successful from the post and has very few moves

Yea people aren't too familiar with Big Haywood. He does take shots from the mid range and also take into account one of the shots in the video came with less than 4 secs on the shot clock

2K7 introduced sig styles, and in 2K9 there is still no true sig style, because every player and team in essence plays the same.

Every team plays the same. You were able to see that from 5 4 min videos. I'm just not seeing it. This video looked nothing like the Nuggets/Suns or Lakers/Celts video but maybe im just different. My expectations arent as high as most of yours are.

Exactly. We know from watching that big scrub take a ton of shots in the post. Especially early in the game. My point is in that 4 min I saw Arenas, Butler and Jamison all take shots. I'm not worried about Haywood getting too many shots or them not running their O.

I don't see it either.

People are overlooking the fact that the stars are getting solid touches, even in the post. In every single one of those videos, the big 2 or 3 guys per team or having the offense revolve around them when controlled by the CPU.

I can guarantee this will be even better in 2k10... but it's plenty great in 2k9.

Too many one handed hook shots from the cpu IMO. Bosh and O'neil looked to be doing this too much. I would like to see more backing down and driving to the basket, or passing out to a wing player.

The Calderon drive to the basket on a screen was a thing of beauty.

The Arena foul was nice too!

I don't get the complaints about Haywood... Caron Butler had was getting some good touches and so was Jamison. Haywood seemed to be the last resort pass to me.

Uh what? 2K has a winning formula, that's why they don't NEED to overhaul their game.

Live still has that feeling that you're not even controlling your player; it feels like you're pulling the player with a rope tied around their body. Just unresponsive and UNfun.
