I just played like one quarter, and I see a big change. I like it, I can finally start a franchise. Also did anyone notice the light bulb flashing seems to be tuned down a bit too, or is that just me?

Ok, I went back and started an actual franchise, that I will now start controlling more of, instead of just simming. I largely sim through Franchise anyway, so that is what I will be doing...and here's the deal:
Controlling all 32 Teams
Importing NCAA Draft Classes

I simmed through the pre-season of Year 1, and am now at the Regular Season. I trained my first active team, which was the Bears...just to see if doing that would generate a freeze. So far, Freeze Free...and I played the Mini Games and all with no problem.
That's all so far, as I progress more...I will report back. If I get a freeze, I will report back sooner.

I know this is a dumb question.But,Im not sure I got the patch.So please answer me this.I went too Game Utility on xmb-Madden file/information,and it says version 1.20,does this mean I got the #2 patch ? I watch t.v. while game loads,And just push -X- for a few seconds too skip intro loading screens.I think I might have downloaded it in the blind. Thanks for the help

How much do you want TO to progress? would think if he's performing like that, there really should be no further progression. i mean NO ONE has ever had a year close to those numbers. Why would you want him to progress beyond that? That's already a bit too much.

Besides do you realize how old TO is? In real life, you would have to expect his performance to start dropping from here on out. What's he like 34 or something?

When editing a player, their draft status still changes to "Free Agent". Wasn't this supposed to be fixed?

Other than that I'm really liking this patch so far!

well earlier people said 1.20 is the right one. and 1.1 was the first so you should be good.

I am posting updates and progress as I go. I've succesfully trained 1 team without a freeze error, which to my understanding was one of the biggest problems people were still having.

So, please keep up with the progress as I post it over there. Anything big (such as a big freeze and such), I will post both places. It's just too much work to type this much out, on two boards, AND try to play the game in depth enough to make sure there's no freezing still going on.

i see what you're saying, i was mainly looking for his catching to go up from 89. im mean with 206 catches. i wasnt looking for EVERY attribute. just catching.

if you've experienced freezing in your existing franchise, I would start over. If not haven't had freeze issues pre-patch, I don't see any reason to start over.

And yes, the cpu players running out of bounds has been fixed.

Those are some nice numbers by any standards...one would think worthy of at least a point or two increase in some attribute. Go figure...

I noticed the ambient noise is cranked up a little more post patch. I can really hear the "THUD" of the kickoff now, which i didn't remember hearing before.

The overall weather effect also seems to be increased, not just the field degradation. I notice the splashes more, and the players skin looks very wet and slick now.

I played in Heavy rain, but there were still no puddles, just some of the grass appears to be a little brown in places, but not specifically in the middle of the field where it should be. But overall its not bad, and definitely better than before.

Here is a sweet highlight form my game.. its hard to tell the field degradation tho in it.
Kurt Warner also lit me up 18 for 20
