Well, TO is 35-36 in the game and T-New is about 30. The guys in their peak rarely progress no matter how good they do since they are considered at their peak. not saying it's perfect, but as long as young guys and backups can progress, it probably works like it's designed too, I'd imagine. Oh, and GOOD LORD on the T.O. stats...that is a bit rediculous...lol

He would come in to the league a 99? Wow. That's too high for any rookie.

I was just defending Tebow since everyone wants to make him out to be a running QB. He actually told Herbstreit that he thinks his rushing ability hurts his perception in terms of how well he throws the ball. I agree and actually think he's more dangerous throwing the ball than running it.

yeah that makes sense when i think about it like that it does work. and i kno man. it wasn't something i did on purpose it just happened that way. before i knew it i was like WTF myself. lmao but i def. didn't set out for that to happen. i wish my other WR would be a little better so i could trust them. looks like this next season i might just use them as much as i can and if i lose oh well.

After the patch, I had two booth reviews in the 2nd quarter of my first game. One for a sideline catch overturned and another in the middle of the field when my receiver tried to scoop the ball and it hit the ground after the catch. Never seen any booth reviews in about 20 games before the patch.

                TOP: Eagles 21:28 Bears 18:31
                1st downs: Eagles 15 Bears 12
Total yards: Eagles 577 Bears 447
Penalties: Eagles 7/75 Bears 1/10 (All holding )

                Eagles 7 14 0 6 27
                Bears 3 10 9 0 22

                OBSERVATIONS
                - I am not gonna definitively say CPU Robo QB is gone: it was Orton and he was facing a pretty solid D. That said, I was happy to see 16/30.

                - Every penalty was holding and the cpu only got one friggin penalty. My penalty sliders were at 70 across the board.

                - Baskett's numbers seem a tad high, but he got an 80yd TD on an out pattern vs. man where he broke the tackle.

                - Quick CPU QB snaps are gone completely. Hell, they even delay the FG and punt snaps.

                - CPU QB actually went deep 5 or 6 times ... and in the right situations. In 3rd and long, Orton went deep. One play was an HB draw, which was a great call that got the Bears a 1st down on 3rd and 8.

                - I found punt returning much different post-patch. That crap where your downfield guys get held up way down the field seems to be gone. Again, it's only one game.

                - Field degradation? Didn't notice it. I played in light rain and was looking for it. I played on the ps3 version on grass. Maybe degradation isn't as big on the ps3. I'll have to try the 360 post-patch.

                - No stupid INTs on either side!!! Both my INTs felt legit. The second one was an especially bad throw on my part.

                - I went with Buckhalter, because it doesn't look like B-West is playing this week.

                - At first, I thought the CPU run game would suck, but after Forte's big run in the 2nd quarter (67 yards) he was pretty damned solid. Of course, no focking substitutions.

                - Oddly enough, I saw my HB1 get substituted a few times after decent runs.

                - Bears went for two-point conversion in the 3rd quarter when their TD made the score 21-19 Eagles. I thought it was a bit early in the game for this kind of call, but was pleasantly surprised anyway. I probably would have done the same thing.

                ONE-GAME CONCLUSION
This was only one game, so it's obviously inconclusive, but I enjoyed the hell out of this game and was able to play a 10-minute quarter game. 59 offensive plays for Eagles, 56 for Bears. Pretty close to real NFL. It took me till my last drive to overcome da Bears.

                MY SLIDERS
Not saying they're the definitive OS sliders or anything, but they're the ones I use. Like most people here, I start with an OS base set and tweak them around my own game.

                Reaction 0

                Punt acc 45
                Kickoff 45

                PENALTIES
                All at 70

Again, and I can't stress this enough, this is only one game. But it was a hell of a fun game.

I guess it makes sense. Not too many football players have their best seasons on the wrong side of 30. It's a young man's game, especially for a position like running back. Receivers can last a bit longer because they're not always getting the ball and they're not being hit on every play.

Wow, I see a ton of deep balls now.

Watching a cpu vs. cpu game between the Chargers and Packers. Packers really used the pass to open up the run. Deep balls to Jennings and Driver on the same play. Nice to see that the running out of bounds cpu thing is done with; saw Aaron Rodgers hit the fullback Korey Hall on a play action and Hall turned it upfield for a nice 4 yard gain.

Playing in heavy rain at Lambeau field; don't really see the field degration stuff. What is it suppose to look like?

Gives me something to look at while I hit the CPU running back behind the line every time, and lead the league in rush defense, as the Detroit Lions.

                        Thanks, Ian.

i played a game at chicago stadium, definately a grass field, and didn't notice any degradation? I played only for a few minutes though. Does it take longer than that? I played in heavy rain as well.

I also noticed that once you edit a player, their morale still drops considerably for no apparent reason....THIS I KNOW WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FIXED.. So my question is, does anyone else have a different experience with this ?
I'm tired of thinking of sigs......

I just played two complete games (10 minute quarters), the first at Pitt, the other at SD, heavy rain in both, and saw Z E R O difference in field degradation after the "patch."
