well it looks as if i got my wish, they changed lebron's signature shot which is awesome. last year i felt like it was too slow and faded away too much but now it looks very much like his actual shot.

great video, props steve.

It LOOKS like the Defense has been bumped up some in the post. I like what I see so far. So far. If it holds up I can't wait to start or rather continue my franchise.

I like LB's new jumper much more than last years. Really enjoyed the vid. thanks Steve.

Also, the mid-air change of shot by LB was pretty tight too.

Wow, a charging foul! I almost forgot what those looked like after 2K8's mess.

Looks like the turnarounds are toned down a bit as well.. in 2K8 you could hit those over basically anyone with basically anyone... even Ben Wallace would hit a few now and then.. in 2K9 he just got STUFFED. Looks good.

I hated that. Basically anyone with a decent post rating suddenly had a hook and turnaround fade in their arsenal.

I recall some guy hitting multiple fades with Dwight, some from the free throw line, all because of his 95 offensive post rating. Sickening.

Looks MUCH better this year.

i have been viewing the operation sports 2k forum since last year and i finally decided to register.

i think what you guys have going on here is far supperior to what they are doing at 2ksports.com.

Ok, here's my breakdown.

What's good:

- LeBron's "And 1" reaction
- LeBron's new signature shot
- Shot-stick adjustments look smooth
- Deng misses the FT, takes a few steps back and wipes the sweat from his brow
- Gooden complaining after getting stripped
- Rose's little glare towards the ref (who isn't standing there), after heavy contact but no call
- Once Z touched the ball, the crowd gave reaction as opposed to before they would only cheer if you took a shot with that player
- The pass to a cutting Rose off the offensive rebound
- They sped up subbing players running to their spot on the floor
- They sped up the FT shooter's "post-shot" animation, you don't get stuck it looks like
- CPU's offense is less stagnant and passes are QUICK
- Charging foul!
- LeBron's FT routine

What's not so good:

- Steve taking a fadeaway with Ben Wallace
- A lot of blocks, even on jumpers (LeBron got blocked on his shot)

...and I'm officially ridiculously excited!

I've been playing 2k8 all day and after watching that..wow, what an improvement!

So many more animations, graphics looks awesome, a CHARGE!..everything looks great!
