Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
HAHA well looks like you know your stuff. I gotta get some money before I get it though. I prolly won't buy any other games besides the show because I have all of the games I want on my 360. I guess I'll have to see what 2k9 looks like even though I have enough evidence with the last 3 years that it blows. At e3 they announced a price drop in feb for a 80 gig ps3, but it will be set up like the 40 gig (no bc, no card reader, and 2 usb ports). Feb will be perfect timing for the show 09, and you can play mgs4,the new socom, and even the show 08 while waiting for it to come out =) Oh, and it will be packaged with a dualshock 3 instead of the dualshock with no vibration. remember to get hd cables for it though (you should be able to find a used set for cheaper =) )NHL-Minnesota Wild

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
Do this! Don't even worry about the horn. Just use the song the team uses and you are set to go. It sounds amazing! The song starts right when it should. Crowd Chant for the Wild sounds exactly like when youre in the X. It's the most amazing thing ever.
BTW to make the music louder use the program called mp3gain. Then open up the folder you want and all of the songs will be listed. Change the decibel volume to 105.8 and youre set to go. It sounds great.Last edited by bwiggy33; 09-20-2008, 01:59 PM.NHL-Minnesota Wild

I can't get my songs to be listed once I open the folder I want with my custom playlists. Not sure what I am doing wrong.Do this! Don't even worry about the horn. I have playlists created in my wmp on my computer and stream them to my xbox where it is connected via router and all that. They come up in the xbox and play, but too quiet so this is why I am trying this to make them louder.
Any help?Comment

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
I have been working on custom music in the game for myself and thought I should perhaps share it when I am finished as I started with the packs Poro24 put up in this thread and I probably never would of got anywhere without that as a starter.
The packs provided were fantastic but in my eyes really did not realistically portray stadium music. Particularly there was way to much metal and no-name groups that you would never hear at a game (At least any stadiums I've been to).
I have pre-divided the packs up into the different game situations and adjusted the volume. There is also a lot more focus on crappy music from the 80s, oldies, country ect.. because that is the kind of music you hear at games. All the songs that all the drunks stand up and dance to on the big screen during TV timeouts.
I intend to also work on organ music and hopefully current hits that we are probably going to hear all season long.Comment

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
That sounds great PhonicsMonkey! I'm currently using custom sounds that I found on this forum, but the volume on the songs are really up and down in-game. There are some that you can barely hear. The pack you're creating has potential. Keep us posted!

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
Worked on it a couple hours today. I intend to be done by the start of the NHL season so I can get going on a franchise....
Added some songs, removed lots, improved quality where need and organized it into the different situations.Comment

"If so, can't wait to make a coked-out David Lee Roth my new horn"
Had to go thru ITunes library to find that one. Hilarious - I never noticed it before.
Why can't I find Frank Pellico's organ version (MP3) of here comes the hawks?Last edited by worldb; 09-29-2008, 08:25 PM.Comment

I'm looking to add a bunch more organ music to my playlist. If anyone is willing to share their files, it would be much appreciated.

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
Okay I've uploaded my custom music to rapid share... It certainly could be a lot better but is a lot of work for one person. I think it is definitely an improvement over anything else I have come across.
It comes in two parts to keep the size down, instructions are within.

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
I have a couple songs I want to put in the game for entrances and after goals. I have 3 songs saved to a jump drive in the .wma format. I can play them perfectly fine on my xbox but can't get them to the hard drive.
I have a MacBook computer and did not use itunes to transfer them over. I know how itunes copyrights everything and makes it impossible to use on the xbox.
What are my options for getting the songs over to my xbox hard drive?Teams:
NFL - Packers & Browns
MLB - Brewers & Twins
NCAA Football - Wisconsin, LSU, Virginia Tech
Soccer - Arsenal, Wolverhampton
NHL - WildComment

Re: Custom Music / Goal Horn Thread
is there any way to even out the volume level of the different songs on my hard drive...some songs sound perfect in the game but then some are too low...
if anyone knows a way to do this or knows it is impossible i would appreciate it...Comment
