Re: National League Divisional Series: Milwaukee v. Philadelphia

I think the Phils went something like 16-7 in September. They're definitely playing good baseball, with guys like Utley and Howard carrying most of the offensive weight. Those two were invisible in the first two playoff games in Philly last year. We can't have that this year. The Rockies scared me in '07, but I don't get that same feeling with a worn down Brewers staff. I just hope we win a game!

The Brewers will win the game that C.C. starts, but without Sheets, I don't see how they can take the series.

      Phillies in 4.

Phillies 4 (unless Rudy Seanez gets to pitch )
Unless Joe Table makes an appearance on the mound, I like the Phillies' chances.

Gallardo is going to be the game one starter for Milwaukee.

Love the move, and hopefully he can turn in a solid outing. The kid is clearly a gamer far beyond his 22 years. It also works to Milwaukee's advantage because Philadelphia hasn't seen him this year, nor can they do much scouting on him.

Man am I getting excited. Why do I have to have a class right in the middle of game one?

In my extremely biased view, Brewers in 4.

I agree; funny how a guy who can't keep his job & was constantly booed in Houston flourishes in volitale Philly...

Milwaukee will make it close in their stadium b/c it gets racous, but the Lidge shuts the door

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Unfortunately, Sheets had not been too reliable for the second half of the season. We had very reliable pitchers in Ben Sheets and Manny Parra before both started to go downhill. I believe Manny Parra hit a rookie wall and Sheets started to wear down like usual.

I would kill for Ryan Braun to "Albert" Brad Lidge, if you know what I mean.

Two runs score so far in the bottom of the third, Burrell up with 2 on 2 out.

                            Get out of this, Yovani.
