Re: National League Divisional Series: Milwaukee v. Philadelphia
I only got to see the first 4 innings of this game, but it looked as though I wouldn't have been able to put my fist through that umpire's strike zone. Moyer was getting squeezed like crazy.Comment

Re: National League Divisional Series: Milwaukee v. Philadelphia
I'm a die-hard Brewers fan, but my hat's off to the Phillies. They're the better team and deserve a berth in the NLCS. I'm obviously still cheering for the Brewers in Game 4, but I'd be surprised if they win.
On another note, I am elated that the Dodgers beat the Cubs tonight. As a Wisconsinite living smack dab in the middle of Milwaukee and Chicago, I know several knowledgable Cubs fans and I respect their baseball knowledge. However, I've attended several Cubs-Brewers games at Miller Park in recent years and walked away appalled each time at Cubs fans' behavior. Loveable losers, my butt. True fans cheer on their own team while respecting the opposing team and its fans. Thousands of Cubs fans make the trek to Miller Park each season and act like complete morons. Long live the goat, Steve Bartman and whatever other jjinx might be looming over your team. I hope it continues. Go Brew Crew.Comment

I disagree. I've been to plenty of Cub/Brewer games and it's been very civil where I sit. Maybe you didn't notice the Sox fans coming up to County Stadium in the 70's and 80's. Evey Monday morning you could count on over 100 fans arrested for disorderly conduct.I'm a die-hard Brewers fan, but my hat's off to the Phillies. It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Then somebody tell Johnny boy he's on national TV, not Wisconsin public service access.
...and why is Romero only starting to warm up with Fielder at the plate? Uncle Charlie still puzzles and amazes.Comment
