Re: ASSOCIATION PROGRESS

I'll start by saying my 1st two games w/ the Suns have been awesome.

My first gm against the Spurs was a thriller. It was the Suns (me) controlling the gm in the 1st half, but the Spurs coming back in the 2nd and controlling for most of the game from that point on only to see me comeback, take the lead, but lose it in the dying seconds to force an O/T where San An thrashed me for the W. I had a chance to win, having the ball w/ 7.3 seconds left, and got it to Amare in the post but he couldn't connect which resulted in SAN ANT thrashing me in O/T

2nd game, home opener vs NO, was another great game.

I trailed them pretty much the whole game until the 4th Qtr came along, and I was able to take the lead back w/ 4 minutes to play.

Posey was killing me from outside, and led NO w/ 19 points. Amare had another 30 point effort for me, but it was all Nash in this one.

Stevie finished w/ 25 pts and 21 dimes. Like I said, I trailed NO most of the game. I would get to w/in being down by 1-2 points only to see them explode for 5-6 unanswered.

That all changed in the 4th QTR, where I locked down on D, and had a much better Qtr on the glass. Amare ended up w/ 15 boards, 7 of which came in the 4th Qtr.

Although I took the lead in this one late, it was still a see-saw battle. I thought I was about to have my 2nd O/T game in a row, because I was up by 3, only to see Peja drain one on me w/ 10 or so seconds left. I called a quick timeout to in-bound at my halfcourt, and instead of putting it Amare's hands late like I did the game before, I went to Stevie Nash...

I got the ball to him at the top of the key...called an ISO on Paul...and took Paul off the dribble to the left elbow for a fade-away jumper...GAMETIME!!!!!! Nash nailed it!!!

Giving PHO a 112-110 lead w/ 0.6 seconds left.

There would be no magical Derek Fisher inbounds play here, and the Suns held on to win their 1st game of the season w/ anthoer thriller...this one at home.
