Re: NBA 2K9 Impressions (PC)
Can anyone please take a photo of the game at 800x600 with everything on low? Just so I know what I'm missing (my PC probably can't run the game on better settings).
Thanks!My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Re: NBA 2K9 Impressions (PC)
I think these are low, it said something about restarting the game for textures to take place but I didn't feel like it
It's only practice mode with KG though.

Thanks! Wow, looks too good for these settings imo. And what's with KG's elbow band? It gets disappeared on lower settings? My Specs:

That's weird! I mean what's low settings got to do with disappearing bands? It's not that it's reflections or shadows or something, it's like part of the player. My Specs:

Re: NBA 2K9 Impressions (PC)
Just another thing to render I guess.
I also note that the jerseys have no texture, they're just a flat texture on low. No holes or anything, that itself looks really bad. It looks a lot worse once the images are stretched full screen too.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Impressions (PC)
Well, I said I would never play this game on my PC if I had a next-gen, but I only have PS2. Still I'm sure it wouldn't run well even at 800x600 and everything on low. Anyway I'm used to play games on medium-low with 600x800, so it wouldn't be a shocker anyway. My Specs:

Re: NBA 2K9 Impressions (PC)
Does anyone know what kind of modding capabilities we have for the PC version?
If I can add my own coaches or at least solve my coaching moves dilemma (due to the low staff budget cap) then I may consider a purchase. I really like this game overall, but not being able to do what I want with my franchise on the console version has got me waivering on a purchase. Again, if modding is good, the PC may be my answer.Comment

Re: NBA 2K9 Impressions (PC)
From what I saw, people already tweaked the jerseys so they're more accurate and changed the color of stuff. Not bad for two days.
