I like the sliders I have going right now, but like a lot of others, I'm worried that after the patch comes out, i'll be tweaking sliders again for days on end!

Re: NHL 09 Patch Update From David Littman
Hey steve
i used Mudtigers sliders pre-patch and i'm still using them, they work well and i see roughly 4-10 PP's for me each game.
There is still some issues i mentioned in previous posts but for me Mudtigers sliders are the best all star sliders on here, i could play on superstar but i am afraid if i do i will start to hate the game because of the cheap goalsComment

You mean you sold it? I bet you feel a little bummed, that you bought it again, before being patient and not waiting on the patch. The patch is awesome. This game is so much fun!!
Yes, it is patch 1.01Comment

Re: NHL 09 Patch Update From David Littman
I used Mudtigers as well. I made some adjustments because I play position lock. And with that, the CPU, even though it controls your other guys, still look at them as being HUM controlled. So, I "upped" SHA, SHP, poke eff, and lowered AI. I lose and win..mostly lose for now. So, anxious for the new patch. I might jump down to PRO after the patch. I heard it's "tougher" after the patch.Hey steve

I dont think its tougher, with the penalties being upped you obviously get more PP's so in a way it does get easier if that makes sense. in my BAP as an offensive dman i am able to run the PP wih ease now and i am reaping the rewards, like in the NHL if you get the puck on net good things happen.
When there is a lot of traffic i hit low slappers that the goalie will more than likely save but my teammates seem to bang the rebounds home a good % of the time. then first game you will play will be strange due the amount of PP's you get well especially because pre patch you couldnt get any.
I would say stick with mudtigers sliders and you'll be fine, goalies have improved so there isnt as many cheap goals so at least now the can dig you out of a hole if you make a mistake.
I just cant believe that it hasnt been released for the 360 yet, mind you we ps3 users deserve to get it first you guys got the custom soundtracks

Re: NHL 09 Patch Update From David Littman
the patch is version 1.01 right ? In the EA boards some said that there were 2 patches on ps3, and the first one was no good. So which version was good and which was bad? thanks a lot
