Not fair. i doubt atlanta would trade anyone on their team since they made the playoffs last year. why would they do this trade? it does not help them at all. johnson is far better than terry.

      Good?

sounds pretty fair imo, seeing he wants out.

          I am the Bulls.

          Bulls trade:
          Noah
          Nocioni
          2nd round pick

          Kings trade:
          Hawes
          Donte Greene
          Bobby Jackson (for salary purposes)

          Fair? Realistic?

Now that Webster is healthy in my Franchise, I offered
            Webster
            Blake
            Frye

            To Charlotte

            For
            Felton
            Wallace

They countered with adding Outaw to the deal, but he's off limits, so I think if I add a 1st rounder it is fair.

Blake assumes a backup role while DJ gets his PT to grow, Marty and Frye and a 1st is worth Wallace and his contract. Frye also gives the Cats some beef up front as May is injured.

I can also do the deal by swapping Felton for Morrison but it doesn't make sense to give them Blake then, as he would be 3rd string.

Re: Official - Is This Trade GOOD? Thread

Just made these two trades in my Jazz association. Wanted to know what ya'll thought of them.

              Jazz trade:
              Memo Okur (Bobcats)
              Kyle Korver (Hawks)
2009 1st round draft pick (Hawks)
2010 1st round draft pick (Hawks)

              Bobcats trade:
              Adam Morrison (Jazz)
              Nazr Mohammed (Hawks)

              Hawks trade:
              Acie Law (Jazz)
              Marvin Williams (Jazz)
              P.J. Brown (Bobcats)

The Hawks came out for the best in this trade. Getting two first round picks, a sharp-shooter in Korver, and a center in Mohammed. The Bobcats get a new starting center in Memo, and I get totally ripped off. Or at least, that's how I see it.

              Jazz trade:
              Andre Miller (Grizzlies)
              Marvin Williams (Grizzlies)

              Grizzlies trade:
              Darko Milicic (Jazz)
2009 1st Round draft pick (Jazz)

I made this trade because Andre was becoming unhappy in his sixth man role, so he gets a chance to start for the Grizz. I had no use for Marvin Williams so he would have just rotted on my bench so I traded him before he became unhappy. And I get a first round pick that should be better then the one I was gonna get, and I get a back up center in Darko.

Re: Official - Is This Trade GOOD? Thread

Rate my potential trade in my 76ers Assoc.

PHI: PG Andre Miller (IND), PF Jason Smith (IND), & 2010 1st rd Pick (IND).

IND: SG Mike Dunleavy (PHI), PG Jamaal Tinsley (MIL), PF Josh McRoberts (MIL).

MIL: PG Damon Jones (IND - $4.46 expiring contract), Adrian Griffin (PHI), 2009 2nd Rd pick (IND).

Dunleavy's morale isn't perfect, but isn't bad yet either. Its hovering around 75/80 w/ his current role/minutes he's getting w/ Indy. That could perhaps degrade as the season goes on since I'm just beginning January.

I think this could be great move for Indiana...They get two expiring contracts totaling roughly $14mil, and Jason Smith's contract could expire should they not exercise his option. Plus they get a 2010 1st rounder - which won't be a lottery pick - but nevertheless is a 1st rd pick.

Altogether it would be around $15 mil total that Indy would have coming off the books. Dunleavy has two more years after 08-09, and his final yr is a payout in the low $10mil range. He'd be 30 when his contract expires, and this team needs more youth IMO.

IRL we all know that Tinsley is on the outs w/ Indy. Moving him to Milwaukee gives the bucks a clear upgrade and starter at point considering Ramon Sessions' contract expires after the season, and the log-jam of PGs they have.

Tinsley's contract will run the longest since he still has 3 years on it. So after 09-10 Lue and Ridnour would be gone, and they'd have more cap room. McRoberts was just a filler given to the Bucks for salaries to match. Same goes for me receiving Adrian Griffin from MIL.

In my Memphis association I have Tyshaun Prince as my backup SF and Mike Conley for OJ Mayo. Conley and Prince are very disgusted and are asking for a trade. I put both of them on the trading block i got the following offers

Is these trade good for the league, for the other team and realistic?

Charlote offered Gerald Wallace for Prince
Portland offered J. Bayles for Conley

Do you think Wallace and Bayless will be contented as a "Role Player"?

I have an association with the Suns, I am considering trading Amare Staudamire to the Rockets for Tracy McGrady.

Staudamire is very good in all, but I need a perimeter threat that can creat his own shot and score at will, plus the Suns have Diaw and Shaq downlow.

                          Is this a good trade?

With Artest in Houston, I think T-Mac is expendable.

You can do better than T-Mac. If you absolutely must trade Amare try to get a younger perimeter player.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

I haven't made any trades in my Blazers association yet, but there have been some pretty decent trades in my season so far.

                              Wizards get David Lee
Knicks get Pecherov, 1st round pick

The Warriors also traded for Rafer Alston but I forgot who the Rockets gave up.

The cool thing about this game is that you see certain players on the trading block all year long and then to see them finally get traded isn't a huge shock, and you kinda see it coming.

I'm the Nets and I was bouncing off ideas for what I could do with Devin Harris since I can't seem to do real well with him. I seem very unlikely to make the playoffs and I'm trying to shed contracts that have more than a year left so I can add a piece this offseason and make a push the next offseason for a bonafide star.

                                Maybe a three team trade?
Nets get Martell Webster, Mike Bibby for Devin Harris and Bobby Simmons
Blazers get Devin Harris, Flip Murray, and the Hawks 1st
Hawks get Jerryd Bayless, Bobby Simmons

Hawks get that young PG they might be able to solidify that position for the near future while giving up a old Bibby and his subpar contract.
Nets get huge cap space for the next year since Bibby is an expiring and upgrade the SF position with someone who can score unlike Simmons.
Blazers get a PG that can perhaps stay in front the PG beasts in the West (Paul, Deron). Keep their young nucleus for the most part, opening up more time for Outlaw and Batum to fill in the SF position.

                                Or I was even thinking:
Nets get Nick Young, Etan Thomas and Wizards first round pick
Wizards get Devin Harris, Josh Boone

I get a young affordable young'n in Nick Young that I think could start at SG and I can shift over VC to the SF. With good development I think he can become a star. The first round pick and Etan Thomas' expiring give me a lot of flexibility this offseason too.
Wizards get a guy who's one of the better point guards in the East. I would shift Gil over to the SG position and let him play off the ball. A starting lineup of Devin Harris, Agent 0, Caron, Jamison and Haywood could be interesting in the East and they seem to be in need of a shakeup.
                                MLB: New York Yankees
                                NBA: New Jersey Nets
NFL: Detroit Lions / New York Giants
                                NCAA: UNC
