LeBron James, okay?

So I'm playing in my Association, playing as the Hawks (12-3) and got the Cavaliers (7-6), I'm quietly confident...but so was LeBron. Dude dropped 42 points on me just in the 1st half! I had Josh Smith guarding him pretty much most of the time, James didn't care though, he was just throwing it up from wherever with hands in is face.

We win by 1 point (I think it was like 139-138), Smith finished with 42 points, 8 reb, 4 ast, 5 blk, 4 stl BUT LeBron finishes with 74 points, 7 reb, 8 ast, 1 blk, 3 stl!

Is he like this in your guys games? I'm okay with players dropping 50 points on me at the most, but 74 points is just ridiculous, he seemed impossible to guard! Friggin' great game though

Every time I tried to play the Cavs my game crashed. So maybe the game is telling me I should not play him, because as the Thunder I'm sure he might run a 100 point game.

what diffuculty i find lebron is a non factor on HOF and superstar but on pro he drops around 30 but others its in the teens and he shoots way less on higher difficulties i think superstars are to soft against you and the CPU dont attack you with their superstars unless he is a PG

I am using the Cavs in my Association and I have had to tweak the sliders about 8 times because regardless of what difficulty or how the sliders are, no one can guard LeBron. I am now playing on Superstar and have to increase the On-Ball Defense slider to about 80 so LeBron can't just drive around anyone whenever he wants.

I know right! There so many times where he managed to drive past 2 defenders then do a layup with hands all over the place but still get it in everytime. The guy was 100% from inside the paint, I expected Kobe to murder me but he didn't, not like this. It was surreal to watch, there was literally nothing I could do to stop him in some circumstances. The only other Cavs to score in double digits were Varejao and Williams. Crazy

I'm using the Cavs and was just getting 25 - 32 ppg for him through 13 games, then all of a sudden he went off for 85. :O


most I've ever scored with a single player in this game going back to 2K6, when I think I got 70+ with Amare.

Is this supposed to be some big accomplishment? It's not hard to score 50.. 60.. 70.. 80.. 90.. 100.. if you use the same player the whole game.. LeBron can tool pretty much any defending SF in the game and his layups don't miss. 97+ close, layup, shoot in traffic is pretty much unguardable.

I always play superstar and haven't had any of them really go off.
I've always held Lebron to lower than 20ppg.. On the other hand, point guards rack up 15+ assists on me damn near every game.

Yeah what's up with that? I struggle to make 10 Ast a game with Bibby but the damn opposing PG will at least get 13 Ast's a game. It's not even funny

You guys are blowong this out the water... he is a great player period... but he cant drop 50 if you double team him always.. he will split the trap in the open court so beware... buy just make someone else beat you on that team and attack lebron on offense to get him in foul trouble..

Is he jacking up, and hitting, three-balls? If so, 2k has overrated him in that attribute. He started the season off as 0-20 or something right?

If I never did it before, I think so, yes. And it was on somewhere around 34 - 38 shots, so I did it in less shots than Mr. Bean.

THe most I scored with a player in 2K8 was 49 with Rudy Gay, so it's not like it happens often. I was making a point that LeBron can go into a beast mode like no player I've ever used before, including past LeBrons who I couldn't even score more than 49 points with in 2K8 (in other words, I don't play selfishly).

Sorry if I came across like the Lord of Parmesan or something.

Perhaps I suck, but playing on the default difficulty with the Dallas Mavericks, Lebron dropped 40 on me in as many minutes.

I play 12 Minute quaters, LeBron was 7-15 from 3pt range, Josh Smith was guarding him tight, all of Smiths blocks were on LeBron, but that didn't matter apparently. I know that he has been a beast this season IRL but dang, Living Rosters apparently doens't hold back.

We would double team him, he'd flick the ball off to someone else, wait for the defenders to return to their opposition, then pass to LeBron and let him do his thing.
