fixed some contracts. added blake ahearn to the spurs. added a few d-league players to the free agent list but will add more as the d-league season gets a little more under way. and a bunch of minor stuff. oh and rob kurz is in the free agents list incase you didnt know and want to play with him rather than monta. and as always nogsters great rating/tendency/coaching edits. oh, and of course the knicks trades.

hey portland, did u manage to get the warriors rotations done? as i mentioned in your pm, i forgot to change the rotations after i did the trade and changed up the positions for that crazy unconventional side.

Wow you guys are releasing these pretty frequently. From the last 5.2 update though, the Bulls rotation still needs some work. Tyrus Thomas doesn't start. Either Noah or Gray start alongside Gooden, usually Noah. Theres an early sub as Noah is usually the 1st person to the bench and Thomas comes in and Gooden slides to the center position. Sefolosha really gets more than 6 minutes/gm but it tends to vary as one game he may get a DNP and the next he gets 20 minutes. Lindsey Hunter should be getting about 10 mins in the rotation. The rotation should look something like this:

PG: Rose-37, Hunter-10, Gordon - 1
SG: Gordon-32, Hughes - 16,
SF: Deng-33, Nocioni -9, Sefolosha -6
PF: Gooden-8, Thomas -24, Nocioni -16
C: Noah-15, Gooden - 21, Gray -12

Some more suggestions:

Biedrins jumpshot tendency should be close to 0 if not 0.

Same with SJax' dunk tendency. I don't think it should be zero as he does dunk every now and then but it's a rare occasion.

Quick note though: I feel Jamario Moon's jumper is closer to Morrison this year than anything else. Any chance you could edit that in the next update?

i thought i changed up their rotation..i put gooden and noah as starters.
also. i dont do rotation minutes exactly as they are in reality. as well this is a videogame and emulating the numbers exactly doesnt translate well enough in simmed stats.
the cpu changes up the rotations enough as it stands [when it gains control of the teams in association/season. so basically i generally slighly exxagerate the teams stars minutes so they get the numbers. also. i do the same for the big rebounders.
i see no point in emulating realities minutes when this is a videogame that calculates the players attributes, tendencies and rotations into the simmed stats equation.
besides, u neglected hinrich in that equation [theres 25 odd minutes gone]..the o.s outsider rosters dont take injuries into account..every team is set with a clean slate.

guys. i forgot to add bargnani into the starting lineup..but to change him to starting sf. i will have to change up his shot tendencies , as because he is a shooter, with a high 3pt tendency, heh will surely take shots away from bosh.
in the next update i will rectify this.
im sure there are other things people may dissagree with, thats fair enough, i do overlook things, and players mpg are one of them. but as i said, i dont emulate the current rosters, with injuries included. i am setting them, as if the teams slate is clean and everyone is ready to go to start your assocation/season with.

because i personally dont see the point if u are playing a season/association.
the cpu generates injuries randomly.
quick play fair enough.
but really, if i set the rotations exactly as they are currently, and u start your association with them, the cpu takes over all non user teams and will almost immediately change the rotations and add these currently injured players..
the warriors or wizards for intance. u may have ellis and arenas on the inactive list in your rotations, but u can bet as soon as the cpu gets hold of that team in your season/association, arenas and ellis will be made active and get starters minutes. totally throwing out the rotations u set anyways.

and just say lebron or kobe, the 2 most popular players in the league, get injured, do u think fans and users of these teams will play their associations with kobe or lebron inactive...i dont think so.

theres just no point if u are playing seasons/associations.

these are not "living rosters"
these are the rosters as they shouldve been rated/tendencied etc, out of the box, with a clean slate, teams fully loaded, and ready to go for a fantasy season. which is what videogame nba is all about.

to prove my point.
i just placed arenas on the inactive list. redid the rotations to emulate the season mpgs, and simmed most the season with injuries OFF. in theory, the cpu should stick with the rotations u set.
the wizards played 68 games.
arenas played 66!
he led them in scoring at 23.1ppg.
