I liked his (Lincecum's) comment about being confused with the meatball pitch. I mentioned that on the 2K forum the other day and you would have thought I was crazy. People kept saying "you need to punish the player for mistakes." I kept saying, "you need to make the system work right and then you don't need gimmicks for punishment". Ahh well...I really hope this is just something extra and not the "really cool info" for the day. I wouldn't be suprised if it were though

lol...kinda had to see it coming though, if that's really all the "cool info." The 2K "brass" has never had a clue on how to interact with their MLB audience. It's early for real info on either baseball game anyway, to be honest. I think the issue for some might be it comes off as more of the same misleading info from 2K on their baseball game. No biggie, at this point IMO.

Well, I would call it official that this is "the cool news." Ron responded in the thread over at 2Ksports that we are "missing the point" about the info and that if we notice they are talking about ideas like turbo, mechanics, heckling, etc. Some of it sure seemed to be just loose talk though. apparently Ron thinks people are illiterate...lol

lol...well SCEA has already dropped a couple screen shots on us and told us about some features that were in or out. Minor stuff to be sure, but I'd say they're in the lead.

Oh, and can't forget the fact they sent in a list of our names and pronounciations to try and get more of us in their audio database...pretty cool

Enough of that though...I'm sure 2K will show some decent stuff off as release draws closer. All is not lost fellas...it's only December.
