Bradford, McCoy, and Tebow in perspective

    http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...n=ncaaf,128795

Compare each of the three finalists to any of the previous Heisman-winning QBs and other notable Heisman finalists (Manning, Young) over the past 20 years based upon QB rating and this year's group would be in the top three in a compiled list. Of course, McCoy's and Tebow's rushing numbers would be the cherry on top.

Wow, Tebow's int% is almost half of Bradford's and more than half of McCoy's. He's not very far behind in yards per pass, rating or TD %. I honestly thought the other QBs were blowing him out of the water statistically.

Sucks that all three of them are having such incredible years all at the same time. Tebow was amazing last year and didn't really have any competition for the Heisman, now it seems like it should be a three way tie for the award.

Whoever gets The Big Metal Stiffarm, I can't really complain about, they all deserve it.

I'm glad Bradford won but I wouldn't have complained if it had went to Tebow or McCoy. They were both deserving as well.

              And Carson Palmer.

But of the last 8, 6 have lost their bowl games. Unleash the media hounds on Mr. Bradford!

Huge Sooner fan here, but I'd have given it to McCoy. Bradford set the TD record, but McCoy set the completion % record. McCoy did it without the supporting cast of Bradford or Tebow, though that's not really the point, I know.

Actually, I'd have given it to Michael Crabtree.

. Little did anyone really know that the groundwork was being set for, arguably, the most devastating offense in the history of college football.

Michael Crabtree might be the best college football player in the country.

I think McCoy was definitely the MVP this year.

Texas was supposed to be in a rebuilding year and McCoy led them to an incredible season. Colt didn't have the talent around him on offense that Tebow or Bradford had so I wouldn't have had a problem with him winning.

I actually think that a writer for the Norman Transcript voted McCoy #1.

Crabtree very well may be the best football player in the country.

With McCoy, Bradford, and Tebow, I personally would have voted Tebow, but all 3 deserved to win it, and I have zero complaints about Bradford winning it.
