All-American Sliders (Tested in All Situations)

I think part of the problem with people posting their sliders is that they don't test all the situations. So I played games as follows: elite team vs. crappy team, elite vs average, elite vs good, etc., and avg. vs. elite, avg. vs crappy, etc etc etc

I came up with these sliders working the best.

    Penalties are all at 95.

The following are for USER & CPU.

    Offense
    Passing Accuracy 30
    Pass Block 10
    WR Catching 5
    RB Ability 45
    Run Block 70

    Defense
    Defensive Awr 40
    Knockdowns 30
    Interceptions 0
    Break Block 50
    Tackling 50

    Special Teams
    FG Length 40
    FG Accuracy 0
    Punt Length 35
    Punt Accuracy 0
    Kickoff Length 40

I've had very realistic games from these. A few upsets but not many.

I will give them a try, but how many minutes do you play per quarter? And do you use sub in/out? Please let me know I would appreciate it so I can give these a try.

8 minute quarters, but 10 minutes is probably going to get you better results.

I do automatic subs. out at 70, in at 84.

OK, thanks. I did try them @ 5 minute quarters and the only thing I had a problem with so far was that when kicking off the return was usually around the 30 to 40 yard line. Which to me that is kinda of unrealistic. What would be a better setting for Special Teams? Appreciate the reply. Do you know of a good dynasty for someone who really isn't that good, but likes some realistic games? Take care!

As far as KO returns go, it depends on what teams are playing. But starting drives at the 35 isn't uncommon in college football. Most college kickers can barely kick it to the goal line. The bigger schools (like OSU and USC, etc) generally have kickers that can, but I'd say 80% of the teams in college football have kickers that can't.

As an update, I'd scale back the run block for user to 60, and turn down the user tackling to 40.

However, I've still found this too easy, so I've gone up to Heisman and turned user run blocking to 70, cpu run blocking to 75, cpu rb ability to 55, and user def awareness to 45. Everything else is same as above.

These are some pretty nice sliders, I won my first game 49-0 I was lsu vs an almost even ranked Michigan St team. Interceptions killed them but the defense actually played for both sides i only threw for 56% the computer 52. Neither of us broke 100 yards running. I had 6 sacks they had 1.

Hey wanted to let you know I tried out your sliders and I think they are great. Used them for my Dynasty with Ole Miss some game were close and others were blow outs but i had to work hard to get my yards and to me without a speedy running back getting yards rushing is pretty hard, but they only problem I come across is the accuracy of my QB ib can be standing in the pocket with no pressure at all and just press my targets button and the pass is way off target forcing my Wr to make a crazy catch. wondering if you have and way to fix this without making it too accurate thanks.
