I see no need at all to mess with the pitcher/batter interface. It is the best I've ever experienced!Comment

Skeletal proportions look the exact same, although you can see more visual detail overall.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: MLB '09: The Show Preview with Screenshots (ESPN Videogames)
player models are not being redone this year.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Thanks...thats exactly what I wanted to confirm.
Its too bad though because player models and collision detection are the two areas that are holding this game back from almost perfectionComment

I agree with you on this. The player models dont bother me at all. I not saying they dont need improvement but it's not as important as collision detection to me.NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.Comment

Re: MLB '09: The Show Preview with Screenshots (ESPN Videogames)
how about in game sports ticker based on your actual franchise. asb baseball did this so well! haven't seen it done that well since. 2k did it a few years back but only during pause menu or idol game period. the ticker needs to be added.
in addition, in asb baseball, it would start of a game clear and then begin to snow or rain. No game since has done this well.
i also hope active in game bullpens are there...Comment

Re: MLB '09: The Show Preview with Screenshots (ESPN Videogames)
There are only 3 things that I hope were added this year and if at least 2 of them were I will be be very happy and consider this game almost perfect in my eyes
#1 Collision Detection with players at all the bases (especially HOME)
#2 Ability to charge in on a ball and unleash a strong throw to any base on the dead run with no momentum killing "slam on the breaks" animation
#3 Ability to choose your batting style as an option on any difficulty level
If all 3 of these were added I will personally send SCEA a gift basketComment
