Re: MLB '09: The Show Preview with Screenshots (ESPN Videogames)
On a side note... am I the only person here who thinks that weather ISN'T in this year? I really doubt something like this would have been added although people seem confident that it is because of the fans wearing the specific clothing. I don't know, with all of the stuff they added this year, I really don't think there is a chance this got in. Of course, I know nothing and could be completely wrong!Comment

I got a PM from Kolbe some time back.
Quite a few guys did......and they were asking us what we would do to improve the game...what we and others were most looking for.
After listening to you guys talk about hitting.....even though I am a manage only mode nut and would want everything geared towards that....I said that another, insane difficulty level is really a must.
I'm sure others stated that too....but I'm sure it's me they listened to.

Here is a free sound editor that I have used:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
You will need to download the LAME MP3 encoder to make the files into MP3s when you are done. It is really easy to use though and it works nicely if you want to record a line in our out as well. I've used it to record old cassette tapes. Speaking of which, I need to go back and finish up recording the tape I have of the 1964 NFL Championship that the Browns won and is the last major sports title in Cleveland.Comment

Hey Kolbe - quick f/u question:
When we hear these mp3 tracks that we import in, will we get the same effect as we did in MLB '08 after the games, where the music really sounded like it was playing out of the stadium speakers? I thought this feature was HIGHLY underrated and really enjoyed it quite a bit.
ThanksComment

Great! I was hoping that we would be able to do this. I'm a little confused by the "or 3" part at the end though. Kolbe, if it's not too much trouble, could you clarify that for me?"There are only two seasons—winter and baseball." - Bill VeeckComment

I'm planing to add old time players name rank and serial number in the Music walk up slot and if that echo sound was offered, that would be perfect.
Kolbe you scared Jim off now he's going to hide his "Pretty Head" under that colorful but practical hat of his.

I am not huge into this, but all the people I know who do mess with this stuff, swears by these two free programs.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
